Had a fabulous meal, first time I have visited in many years so nice to revisit! Had the Liver & Bacon with mash & seasonal veg followed by lemon sponge. Both gorgeous!

Staff were incredibly helpful and did everything they could to accommodate our needs. Separate menu for allergies and they sent the manager over to discuss. Food was nice, not excellent but not bad for pub grub. Kids loved the play area, both indoor and out.

Great place. Staff are accommodating and friendly.Great indoor play area for the kids and also an outside play area when the weather is nice with a great beer garden overlooking the sea.Food is great and modestly priced. I had the sirloin steak with Stilton on top (pictured). It was cooked to order and very tasty. Overall I can't fault it.

Service was reasonably quick for a bank holiday weekend, prices fairly average. The vegan burgers were okay a little on the dry side and the actual burger patty was barely warm. The rest of the meal was delicious and good portion sizes. You can order drinks online but food orders are in-person only. Toilets are very clean.

Considering we went at 20:15 I thought there would be limitations to the menu, but not only was everything we ordered available the food was excellent quality so fresh and tasty. Also the servers were excellent kept checking on us to see if everything was ok and see if we needed drinks topped up.Would definitely come again when we return for a break.

I had the beef and ale pie with a jacket potato and veg.The pie was big and deep, with a saucy and tasty gravy, filled with loads of melt in your mouth pieces of beef, along with a nice puff pastry lid...very good indeed!Give it a go if you love your pies! You won't be disappointed!

Seems over busy for the number of staff. I've seen several occasions when a Waitress has walked around trying to identify who has ordered what food. I feel sorry for the staff. Probably a management issue. Food is decent but nothing special. Good views.
