Always love visiting cliffs. lovely people serving coffee, a chilled vibe. The upstairs has the best light i like to sketch or catch up on emails.

Amazing atmosphere, food and records! The staff are so friendly and down to earth, the food is clearly a labour of love, and is beautifully presented, we struck gold by coming across this café.Many thanks to the team - from, the juice lovers 😂

This is a cute cafe, with a great collection of records and lovely staff. The food, while tasty, was disappointing in its portion size and a little over-priced (I paid £8.50 for a small mushroom & cheese toastie with a few bits of side salad).

Great retro ambience, fab coffee, cool staff - be there or be square!?

There are 2 youngish guys with long hair serving. The Shorter one with darker hair has a serious attitude problem that lets the place down. I have visited twice at 3 weeks apart and experienced both times. I made a polite order and he was curt, passive and obnoxious. I tried to make gentle conversation with him and got nothing back. The coffee was quite good and I ordered another but the milk wasn’t steamed enough and was lukewarm so took it back. No apology. When I left I said thank you and was polite to see how he would react. He was stuffing his face with a huge family pack of crisps (which I found slightly unprofessional). He muttered something to me without looking. By contrast , the other long haired man with lighter hair and taller was polite and open. I wasn’t looking for a full on chat. Just a few nice words as I was paying / making my order. I’m from london not Margate and wonder if this was a special treatment for obvious “Down From Londoners”. The place itself is interesting and nice interior. I have to say though that On both occasions what I hoped would be a relaxing coffee was ruined by screaming kids. It seems popular with mothers with toddlers. So if you are hoping for a chilled rest bare this in mind. The management/ owner should address the attitude of the person in question, it’s not what I expect when spending £12+ on drinks and cake. There is no place for blunt obtuse rudeness in cafes where people just want to relax and put money into local economy rather than nearby Costa. I won’t be coming back here and I will also tell me London friends there are plenty of other good independent cafes in Margate to visit.

Good balance of taste and ambience was suitable for catching up with friends. Definitely good to visit.

Amazing food. Please tell me how you made the miso mushrooms? I promise I'll still come back!

What a find this place was! Really cool and nice atmosphere. Really unique breakfasts. The most different take on a Full English I’ve ever had and has to be up there with one of the best breakfasts I’ve had.Reasonable prices. Good pot of normal tea!!Kids brekkie was really generous.Bacon sarnie was a really new angle on a classic.

Fantastic food and great value. My friends and I had brunch here, ordering the full meaty breakfast, the salmon and the falafel, all of us were impressed by the dishes we ordered.I’m not entirely won over by the “mumbled egg” concept, but it certainly gets people talking, which is only a good thing for the restaurant.

Great venue. Excellent coffee and the food was delicious. Loved the setting and some great records available to buy.
