Food was brilliant and the price was good too. Nice seating and overall very nice.

·

Very nice bacon roll while on a morning walk.

Many thanks to the lovely helpful staff at the Harbour Bakery they provided the buffet for my mums 90th birthday , really fresh and tasty sandwiches, sausage rolls , and cheese lattice were specially good. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and took pressure off us having to cater ourselves . We were able to collect shortly before the party so everything was fresh . Deserves 5 stars and would thoroughly recommend..

How can they justify increasing price of take away coffee by 30p per cup from £2.20 to £2.50. Even the friendly staff in bakery were embarrassed. Very greedy owners. Go elsewhere

Food, was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the Spanish omelette & Salad - comes with home made coleslaw -The only pit fall was when the drinks arrived (3 Mochas) they were only just luke warm, but all credit to staff as when we told a member of staff they did take the drinks away - and they came back steaming hot, wasn't remade new drinks tho!?Lovely seating inside & seats available outside which are very popular in nice weather, will definitely go back and hopefully the drinks issue was just a one off!!

Very rude staff! They gave me a fridge-cold sandwich and to my “Could you please heat it?” they responded “No, we can’t put it in the microwave. Sorry, I have another client here”. The cheese even has disgusting taste of fridge-stayed. Also, if you take take-away coffee you should go away with the empty sugar packs and stick with you, because you have no where to throw it away and the staff doesn’t even pay attention to you and are talking on the telephone.

Rude staff. I was waiting in the shop for 5 to 10 minutes. After a few minutes of me waiting a telephone order came in and they proceeded to make this order before even taking mine. Shortly after I had realised this someone who had come into the shop a long while after me was served before me. At this point I left the shop without anything. It seems like the staff don't have properly defined roles which makes the atmosphere feel chaotic. I think the underlying problem is a lack of management. Staff could also brush up on general courtesy skills.

Excellent breakfast we had here, perfectly cooked fried eggs, bacon, sausages, bubble and squeak etc etc. Good service with a smile and reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommend

In a world where supermarkets have taken over much of the retail food scene, it's really welcome to still be able to buy from local, specialist retailers. In this respect small, independent bakeries are particularly important, so it is good that the Harbour Bakery thrives in Birchington. It sells high quality bread and rolls, plus much to please a sweet tooth. For instance, its apple strudel is superb, and not overpriced. Friendly service just adds to the pleasure.
