Fishbone Grill in Thanet

My dad loves to come here weekly! They always make him feel very welcome when he's on his own. I've ordered the omelette, all day breakfast and cod and chips - they've all been great, big portions and tasty food.

Five stars, great place! Greeted with a warm welcome. Service excellent. We were a family of 5 and I changed my order to grilled fish rather than battered too. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place too eat at any time of the day. Thank you. 😁

We drove from south east London and stumbled across this place, and I can honestly say its the best fish and chip shop I have ever been to!!! We came with 8 people and each and everyone got there ideal meal!! The cod is unbelievable the homemade menu is truly homemade and made with care and love i cannot rave about it enough! Not to mention they was closing and still catered for 8 of us still at the highest capacity we are truly grateful thank you 😊 🙏

Chips and mushy peas, very nice, and a good size portion! The cod, extremely greasy and didn't appear to be the freshest bit of cod from the ocean! . . Service and atmosphere both good!But that's not enough to make me come back!! 👎

Been there a couple of times now. The food is amazing, big plates of food. Clean and reasonable price. Will definitely recommend! 👍

Visited here for the first time a month or so ago and returned to see if the standards set the first time were the norm. Well we weren't disappointed. Service with a smile. A good varied menu with a great choice. Food is beautiful and fresh. The fish was cooked to perfection. Helpings are plentiful and prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit already. 10/10. 👌

Would love to rate the food but they turned us away. We arrived 15mins before the published closing time only wanting a bag of chips to takeaway, doors open, lights on, staff there but they said they were closed and refused to serve us. Please update your closing times to ‘will close when ever we want too’ at least that way I won’t go out of my way to come to you.

Went here on Sun 13/3/2022 and the place was really busy, which is always a good sign! Although it says fish and chips the menu covered everything from Sunday lunches to fantastic fry-ups. I had the basic fry up and portions were really good, mushrooms fresh, eggs perfect (solid whites, runny yoke - dipping material). Although busy we had a table and menu in 5 minutes, teas in 10 minutes and the fry-ups within 15. Staff our lovely, good prices - What's not to love!

Very friendly staff. Plenty of seats for inside dining. Food was excellent and very nicely priced. Definately one to try if you are passing by
