Such a shame this place is getting some other restaurant's bad reviews. Please check you have the correct one before writing a review. This little Chinese takeaway is fantastic! I am really fussy with Chinese takeaway and have tried a few different places. This one is the best in the area by far! We have been getting our Chinese from here for 5 years now and not once have we had anything with a problem. Always been fantastic food and great service! Please don't take all the bad reviews to heart there is clearly and issue with people clicking the wrong one!

Absolutely awful takeaway, wish I'd read the reviews first!!My first time ordering from here, food portion was miniscule (I'm not a big eater but this was tiny) and the pork was slightly pink.The container had been upturned during delivery so sauce wasnt on the food.Was meant to be contactless delivery yet the boy handed it to me.Oh and they delivery guy phoned up saying we've got your chinese, when i said no ones rang the bell he was quite rude and said he was definitely ringing the bell.Avoid!

First time I've ordered from Fortune Meadow.I can honestly say it was awful food and we will never go back!Most of the meat dishes were over cooked and almost impossible to chew. What wasn't overcooked was completely tasteless or very greasy.We threw most of the food in the bin.Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else.

Ordered using JustEat at 6:30pm and at 8:30pm it showed up as delivered. I tried to phone the restaurant 15 times but they never picked up. Contacted JustEat and they finally told me that my order had been cancelled as an ‘item was out of stock’. I don’t understand how this was only found out 2 hours after I’d ordered. The restaurant obviously doesn’t care for their customers.

Absolute shambles!. Possibly the worse chinese I have ever tasted, even the dog didn’t eat it. Food was over an hour late and when trying to phone up about food being missing there was no answer. NEVER EVER will I be ordering from here again, once again, absolute shambles.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! waited over 2 hours for food.. Still didn't arrive. No calls or updates. Waste of time and by looking at the other reviews now maybe saved ourselves from food poisening anyway.

I should have read the reviews before I ordered. The whole place stank, I knew I made a mistake as soon as I walked in. I was told it would be half an hour, had to wait for another 15 min. Everytime the kitchen door opened I wondered whether these people ever heard of food hygiene. How they stay opened is beyond me. Food was the worst I've ever had, some dishes smelled funny, kind of off. Thai green curry went into the bin, looked like grey soup, never seen anything like it. Quarter of a duck had hardly any meat on it, gave us a piece with just one leg and some skin on a bone. Seriously undercooked. Vegetable spring rolls smelled and tasted of chemicals. I'm surprised I lived to tell the tale.

Awful food. Arrived 30 minutes late after already changing the delivery time once. Every single bit of food was burnt to the point a regular knife could not go through a pork ball! Never normally leave reviews but wish I had trusted the ones on here. Will never buy here again! Steer clear!

Absolutely disgusting. Paid by card, noddles were rock hard. Curries smelt off..funny colour/texture. And not to mention so answer of phone when trying to contact them regarding this foul meal. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Shouldn't be open for business at all. I can't express my disappointment. Worst order I have ever received. Ever.

It took nearly 2hrs to arrive. Cold, wet chips. Missing food. Vegetable chowmein had chicken in it. Manager argued with me, saying the chips weren't cold and there was no chicken. Called me a liar. No apology, anything. Disgusting. Never ordering here again.
