Frankie & Benny's - Thanet in Thanet

Been vegan for 6 years, ordered off the plant based menu, and was served real chicken which I only realised after eating it. Manager very nice and paid for meal but shouldn't have happened and won't ever go back

Great service and delicious food. We came in with our children for a meal before our cinema trip. We were served by Becky but all the staff were friendly and made our trip one to remember. We will be back.

Good food, service wasn't brilliant but not bad, just not very attentive.

Service felt strained and the music on a loop felt frustruating compared to other F and B locations. Foods good though

Haven't been here for a while now, restaurant has been revamped and looked the part, unfortunately I personally was disappointed with the menu choices and the food we ordered was mediocre, for £12 - £14 a burger & fries I was expecting a proper burger, sadly I didn't feel I got my monies worth, no sides on the plate unless you paid more, onions missing and bbq sauce on a chicken burger, wasn't impressed and probably won't go back, or recommend, staff were friendly enough and the service was good, but that's all... not great and definitely not reasonably priced in my opinion, compared to a steak say, shame

We came as a family and the starters arrived luke warm but we were so hungry we ate them.My spaghetti bolognese resembled something you would pour from the lowest quality tin of bolognese you would buy as a student when you were broke. It had the consistency of soup and was tasteless as though it was heated in a microwave. The pasta most certainly was not fresh and tasted like a boil in the bag offering that had been in water for sometime and reheated. Tasteless and certainly not al dente.The hot dog was so over cooked my partner had to literally saw through it in what can be only described as a soggy bun. The only redeeming part was the french fries.The “cocktails” were almost comedic in their lack lustre flavour and inappropriate glasses. My daughters arrived with popping candy- we felt like we had entered the twilight zone of a poor version of Bugsy Malone.The dessert we decided to share was more out of curiosity than desire and what was served looked like a pile of sick with an ice cream on top. Cookie dough and mini Rolos that looked like it had been eaten before and was so stodgy I could only handle one mouthful. How this place can describe itself as an Italian restaurant is beyond comprehension- the two fake bronze images of the fictional Italian brothers sums this place up. Fake cuisine that you could buy in tins and microwave pouches at Iceland and enjoy more.Absolutely shocking.

Absolutely disastrous visit - starters came out 10 mins apart. The latter one being meatballs, which were stone cold. These were returned and we waited 20 mins for a replacement. When they arrived they were actually "chilled" in the middle. Very dangerous food temperatures! We were not the only table to complain about cold food!This is a huge disappointment as we've been previously on several occasions and it has been quite good. Something isn't working at the moment.There seems to be a massive focus on satisfying the Deliveroo/UberEats/JustEat delivery drivers orders and this may be having an impact on the standard for diners in the restaurant.

Absolutely awful night!!! Staff more concerned about getting the food to the Uber/Justeat/Deliveroo drivers who stand around looking at you and other customers while your trying to enjoy your food!!! If/when you finally receive the food that is!!!! Took almost 30 minutes to get our first drinks delivered! Asked the waiting staff how long our food would be and she said "I'll find out, give me a sec" after about 10 minutes of her and the 'Manager' running around sorting the food waiting for ages to be delivered, I asked her again how long our food would be and again she said "I'll find out, give me a sec". When the food finally arrived I asked the Manager if they still celebrated birthdays in Frankie & Benny's? When he said yes I replied with "good!! Because I've had 2 since I arrived and have been waiting!!!" As for the food! Absolutely disgusting! How someone can mess up a hot dog and chips I'll never know!!! Told and showed them how hard the end of the bun was and got told it's due to it being toasted! Funny how it was as tough as when you put it in a microwave!!!??? If you want a disappointing evening out the I can highly recommend this place!!! Will never return again! And since telling other people about it everyone has said how rubbish they found it! In fact the lady in the Vue cinema next-door even said I could have told you not to bother going there! No one ever enjoys their food, and she was the 1st person I told about how awful the food and service was!!!

Fantastic food and wonderful staff! Another great evening! Love the vegan desserts available!

This restaurant had great service.The waitress that served us was very friendly and attentive.Our food had come quickly and everything was very tasty.Our children had enjoyed the experience.We had booked the table on their app and it was prepared on time for when we had arrived.
