Golden Curry in Thanet

This restaurant is disgusting! The food was awful, very dry. We had drinks that didn’t taste right, we didn’t enjoy our meal at all. When we complained there was 2 others in there that also had mouldy milk served to them for their coffee!! When we decided to say something, the manager was very rude and started shouting, didn’t handle it very well at all. This is not okay. All 4 of us the next morning were really ill…

The Management is 100% that makes everything else perfect. Thank you for looking after our son who is deaf, really appreciated.

We had lamb bhuna(big chunks of lamb), rice, saag aloo, aloo gobi and poppadoms with dips.. we put 3 people on it n it fed us all. Quality and quantity. Superb service, quality food. Bookmarked for next time. Thanks peeps. Food was amazing

Took nearly an hour to get the food the 2 english white teenage waiters did not have a clue wot Indian restaurant waiter does not no what channa is?I can allow them they are young and obviously being paid peanuts to face the public when the so called chef is in the kitchen cooking the blandis food I've ever tasted it not ho.e made it straight out of a pataks jar worst Indian experience I've ever had.. avoid if you you don't like wasting money

I always have a soft spot for the Golden Curry. I grew up in Margate and the first time I ever tasted Indian food was at the Golden Curry way back in the 80s when I had my first ever Chicken Korma! I lived just over the road from it in Clifton Gardens. The owner Ali is a really nice , genuine sort of guy and it's good to see that his restaurant is still going strong. I've eaten there a number of times over the last few years and always enjoyed our meals. The prices are always very reasonable too. Lovely food and great memories too of some lovely evenings spent at the Golden Curry!

Had a lovely meal and reasonably priced

So me and my family of six called here on a whim as we already had a place booked for a pub meal but didn't fancy it. My partner called them at 6.30 to see if we could get a table surprisingly we were able to get one which made me think it can't be any good....... How wrong was I we were met at the door by a polite young waiter who showed us to our table, although he was on his own he served us all very well and the food oh my...... It was amazing, can honestly say best Indian I have had for years and the portion sizes were huge wr had to apologize for leaving so much as the portions where we are from are a lot smaller...any thanks for a fantastic meal. If I could give 10 stars I would
