If you are after fish and chips, then dont order it from The Golden fish bar, had an order from them on Friday and it was horrible it was cold and over cooked and made me and my son ill yesterday with the trots and being sick

This jolly little place is run by father and son. This is now my Go to fish and chip shop in Thanet. The food is always fantastic and the portions are more than enough. The prices are palatable to.

Quick service. Chips were good. Portion size generous, especially the children's meals, which would be suitable for an adult. Fish ok, although batter was on the heavy side for me. Good value for money.

Probably the best fish and chips in the area. We used to go to another shop, but their prices and portions have changed for the worse, but not here! Enormous portions, and great food. The chips are cut fresh, and some of the best you’ll have. Plus it’s a local mom and pop shop, so supporting a local business is always good
