Morelli's Gelato Broadstairs in Thanet

Lovely vintage environment, friendly staff and generally comforting nostalgic atmosphere. It would be 5 stars if they had more vegan options. At the moment it's just sorbets but some vegan ice-creams would make it so much better. My sister enjoyed her Eton Mess and the drinks are good.

This place is truly incredible!!! A blast from the past, huge, delicious gelato sun dates, a soda fountain and a 50's jukebox, all with a sea view. Who would want more....

Really good service, very polite staff, the gelato sundaes are outstanding. It's pricey but great as a treat.

Lovely place to visit on a hot day for ice cream. They've a large selection of ice cream related goods and is priced quite reasonably.Quicker to dine inside when there's a queue outside for the takeaway ice cream cones etc as there's a different till for eating inside. Plus you get much bigger desserts inside!Would definitely recommend and would happily go again tomorrow.

Beautiful nostalgic Ice Cream parlour, I used to come here in the 60's 70's and the place looks exactly, better paint job of course but the memories come flooding back, the Ice Cream is still up to the famous Morellis' standard and delicious too, defo worth the visit if you're in town.

Fantastic ice cream café that has been in Broadstairs since the 1950s. It has the best selection of sundaes, each with their own individual glass and good strong coffee. The decor has recently been updated but retains a classic '50s charm.

Been coming here for years now , very few changes, wonderful authentic interior, so 1960s , fantastic ice cream selection and dog friendly too .Helpful staff shame they don’t do a lunch menu.

I was pleasently surprised at how charming this place is and it's open 7 days a week. I didn't know how to order, and had a long list. Grace was really busy, and she was so kind and efficient with my order and helped me navigate the system! Our order was bought by May (I can't possibly spell her name!) who was helpful and smiling. All the staff (I had reason to phone after our visit) were good. I did expect the ice-creams to be tastier and they were not particularly good value but it did feel special to be here. (There is only one toilet.)

Given this place's fame, I was expecting a bit more to be honest but then again perhaps I should have gone for something a bit more simpler than the gigantic special I got served. The view and the decor get their own mention; I love the retro feel of the place and it's wonderful to be able to eat ice cream while overlooking the bay.
