Newington Fish Bar in Thanet

Sat in and ate at this great fish and chip shop. The service was kind, helpful and knowledgable. The fish and chips tasted great. Good size portions for a good price. Well worth a stop if passing or visiting area.

Friendly staff and fairly quick service. The fish was OK and a decent size. However, I wasn't a fan of the chips, I had quite a few which weren't cooked all the way through.

Best Fish and Chips ever had. We travel from Canterbury and always have a warm welcome and as smile from the team. Sexy Sarah is our favourite!!

Fish is good quality, however batter was greasy and the chips way overcooked. I think i just caught them on a bad day if I'm honest reading the other reviews for this place

The fish and chips here is absolutely the best you can get . The batter is light and crispy & The cod has a meaty steaky texture that is to die for. The mushy peas are excellent as well. I recommend a side of the fried spam on the side. I will be coming back to Kent specifically to eat here again.
