Pizza Hut in Thanet

What a lovely place! Good food at an affordable price, and with cheerful, friendly staff. The Manager was particularly charming, literally singing-along to the songs that were playing as he cleaned tables. A very memorable evening indeed :-)

I hadn't been to a Pizzahut for a while. Let's start with the positive. The pizza and salad bar were great. Wine was tasty and a good Merlot.Now the reason for two stars. Having to order on an App and card only. I am no techno phone, I work in IT, but when I go to a restaurant I like to be served. Whilst cash is not taken it excludes older people who still prefer real money.I use the Wetherspoons App regularly but their prices are significantly lower and not really restaurants. When paying restaurant prices for wine and food I think restaurant service is not unreasonable. Asking for a tip when I did the order myself was a wind up.As I said food and drink were very good.

We arrived to find the restaurant late opening by half an hour so waited outside. Then after we were lead to our table we were told to scan the QR code using our smartphone (very ageist) to get the menu and order our food. The QR code didn't work so we used the website and eventually this worked. After washing hands in the gents loo I found the dryers not working. I told the waitress and she told me I could use blue roll instead. Pizza was fine as expected but found the experience of the restaurant to be very poor

Takes so long to order on the app. Spoils the evening. Some things not an option so waitress has to ask chef and it still didn't work. The forgot children's dessert.

We visited before we went to go to the cinema and had to rush unexpectedly. The woman that was serving us was very helpful in changing our order and being able to make sure we had all of our food packed for taking away. We are very grateful, the food was amazing and would recommend! :)

Food was good. Service was OK but somewhat lacking as you order your meal online and they just bring it over to you. Quite a long wait between mains and desserts.

Very friendly and professional staff with impeccable manners use this restaurant a lot. Sorry I've only caught one name and that is Robin but they are all nice great food too.

Not a pleasant experience my latest visit. They got my order wrong and tried to blame me for using the app incorrectly. After arguing for 5 minutes they realised it was the app at fault. The person dealing with it was very rude and patronising.

Disappointing decline in quality still priced as premium. No longer the stand out leader in its market. Everything looked and tasted as though main priority is the cheapest available ingredients. Service reduced to app order only no cash, no table service, minimal staffing costs clearly another priority. Felt fleeced for the price paid. Can't be this restaurant alone, I feel the brand has lost its way. Struggling to find any positive for balance tbh...

Average meal. Clean and well maintained restaurant. Great service from waitresses.Difficult to actually order food using the QR code as the internet connection is appalling. Logged in via store WiFi eventually but this kept dropping out too. Was on the verge of walking out before ordering as a result of this. We actually saw another table seated after us do the exact thing.
