A welcome break when walking along the beach from Ramsgate to Broadstairs

·

We always like a beach walk when the tide is out, then a cup of coffee or tea or snack to finish a lovely morning or afternoon. Sam's is always welcoming to his Locals and Visitors from around. 👍😀

·

Great local cafe in a lovely spot by a small dog friendly beach and on the promenade that leads into Broadstairs. Good coffee, food was freshly cooked, tasty & reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Great place to stop and eat freshly prepared food. Our favourite place when we come to walk from Dumpton Gap to Broadstairs. Great place to sit and view the seashore and tidal activity....with great sandwiches and light dishes and snacks.

Ordered a chicken tikka salad and got a chicken curry in a Balti bowl with bread and salad. I informed the waitress and she just laughed gave a dirty look with a scowl and replied " well theres nothing else".

·

Nice clean beach cafe, reasonably priced with a good variety of drinks and food on offer.

Visited dumpton Bay today, a lovely little sandy beach where you can take the dog. Had lunch at Sam's bar, which has a decent range of food from burgers, chips and various salads. Tea, coffee and soft drinks. I found the staff very friendly, I was a bit short of cash and they let me off £3.00 or my order so I could feed the family. (Thankyou so much). I definitely recommend this little beac and Sam's bar. Will be visiting again, soon.🙂👍💖

Stopped here today and ordered 2 portions of chips and was charged £7! I asked him to confirm the price and her said £3.50 a portion, I paid but thought it was really over priced. The chips were in a white tray, I won’t be returning at that price, I expected to pay about a fiver was shocked at £7!

Friendly staff and lovely location on dog beach. Easy to park at the top of the hill and a nice walk into Broadstairs. The hill down is very steep and would be difficult for wheel chairs, especially those without hand breaks.

This is the perfect stop off for walkers with or without a dog ! Plenty of seats and tables. The food is honest basic grub cooked breakfast or various rolls or just toast and marmalade! There are also specials available on menu Garlic Prawns e.g. Bonus!! there are also public toilets available as well.
