Had a lovely view of the see, good bar with local bear.*****Stars for a lovely drink, can get good food as well.

It was a beautiful, warm and sunny afternoon. Being Mother's Day we were expecting the pub/ restaurant to be busy. The place was virtually deserted. It made for a peaceful couple of drinks listening to the calls of the shore line birds. Staff were very polite and drinks reasonably priced. As for the view over Pegwell Bay, well that is priceless. If you are ever in Ramsgate do visit. It's well worth it.

Not the best meal we have had there. The staff were good but this was a pre booked meal for ten and to be perfectly honest the food was a little bit bland. This normally is a very good place to eat so felt a little bit let down.

We visited this evening after not having a meal here for a while and my Husband and I were very impressed. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The seating area wasn't too crammped and the meal itself was gorgeous, portion sizes were very generous and very tasty. Just a very very nice evening. Would definitely recommend here to our friends.

Great meals in here today we all had different n each enjoyed there's,good service so there's chilli n rice, gammon ham egg n chips n steak n ale pie mash n green beans,Pie were nice but needs a proper pie pastry,but full of steak,the chips really nice,n the other meals were nice.

Nice Balcony overlooking Pegwell Bay. Friendly staff. They have a decent kitchen that uses quality ingredients & serves well cooked food, much better than most pub chains.

First time we have visited. Thorley taverns pub at its best and very similar to the Captain Digby at Kingsgate bay. A pub and restaurant at many different levels. You will definitely be able to find somewhere to enjoy the sun during the summer. Lovely beers and a number of different bars will ensure you don't have to wait long. If you fancy some food there is a large menu that will make sure you get well fed. Perhaps a little overpriced but I guess you have to pay for that amazing view.
