Lovely pub..friendly staff and clientele

Was like stepping back in time to an old pub

The bar staff and atmosphere are great. My partners 30th was perfect thanks to Mel and the team

Bingo club has moved here on a Monday. Landlady is lovely ,surroundings in pub are clean well presented ,pub is lovely and bright too. Service is fast ,beer is great ..no complaints at all.

Great food been eating Sunday roast for six months not a lot left on plate if any lovely service and very clean and tidy

OK pub would not take kids there at all. Staff. Are great

Went here for the first time last week for a Freddie Mercury tribute, what a fantastic night and great atmosphere! Ended up going back on the Sunday for a roast which was great and a bargain! My new local

Staff didn't know how to pull a pint, had to ask another member of staff. Not happy with service. Asked for a pint of dark fruit and a coke, the coke was warm and was informed they didn't have ice!! What pub doesn't have ice!!!

Recently been taken over and had a refurb. Set out is a lot better now and been decorated in lovely colours. Has a nice feel about it.

I was attending a birthday party in a separate room with friends and neighbours. I was extremely happy with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They provided all the help they could without even being asked. They helped set up, carry in the birthday cake, change the music, make and lay out the buffet. They even had separate light up headphones which could play different tracks so that the guests could choose to listen to different music if they so wished, which went down well with the children and teenagers.At the end of the party the amazing staff even helped us to take down the decorations and borrow the trays to take food home on and return them another day. They couldn't have been more helpful if they tried.They have several TV screens, jute boxes, a pool table and serve meals too. A very warm, friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming pub.
