Great Sunday lunchI would like to thank Lemini and her team for out of this world service. We were celebrating our Ruby Wedding anniversary with the family. All were made to feel special adults and children alike. We have had several lunches here, but it just keeps getting better !Keep up the great work.Ian

The Tartar Frigate been the starting place for many a good nights out in Broadstairs. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff. Grab a seat on the harbour arm and a drink from The Tartar Frigate on a summers evening and watch the sun go down ... a perfect evening. When in Broadstairs give them a visit.

A friend and i went there yesterday after a long wall to Ramsgate and back. Lovely pub, very welcoming staff. I had my dog with me and he was made welcome with a bowl of water and some biscuits. Highly recommend

Absolutely outstanding customer service today. We have eaten here before and the food is fab but I must say the colleagues in the bar and the restaurant manager gave us the best service. Would recommend this place 100%.. thanks for the oysters..x

Have been trying to eat at this restaurant for a few years and it's always been fully booked. Managed to get a last minute table between Christmas and NY for a party of 6 and had a lovely meal. Both ladies working in the upstairs restaurant looked after us really well, very friendly with lots of reccomendations. Plenty of choice on the menu, and the food did not disappoint. Would 100% reccomend to anyone looking for a good meal in the area - book ahead so your not disappointed!

I took a friend for Sunday lunch and was blown away by the hospitality and amazing dishes on offer, we had the four courses all of which were perfectly done and the main served with a delicious selection of perfectly cooked veg all of which we were allowed to linger and enjoy. Our experience was so good that we have already booked to dine at this wonderful place again!

The upstairs dining room is a lovely place. We had Sunday lunch there, they have two sittings. The tables have tablecloths, the soup is served from a tureen, and it’s a fixed price menu with several choices for each of the four courses. You look straight out of the window over the bay. It really is rather good, and served in a lovely and friendly way, and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Lovely Restaurant on the beachfront at Broadstairs.Excellent service by Beth and the team made a good day better.Friendly, helpful and efficientThe menu although small was made up of local produce.We enjoyed the starters which included the Tiger Prawns as well as the excellent Grilled Sardines.These where followed by The Chefs Special Crab Salad which was excellent, we also enjoyed the Whole Mackerel with salad and Chips as well as the Spanish Fish Stew.The whole meal was very tasty, hot and came in ample portions.The meal was accompanied by a very nice bottle of Babich Sauvignon Blanc which was also very good.We also enjoyed desserts which were the Sticky Toffee pudding and Ice Cream and the Raspberry and Cream Tart.All in all we had a tasty and excellent meal which was very reasonably priced.Once again well done to Beth and the team at the Tartar Frigate.Keep up the good work.Clean and well maintained toilet facilities too.Highly recommended when in Broadstairs or anywhere near by.

Amazing food and service. Came here to celebrate my partners 50th. The service team are friendly and professional. Amazing quality food and wines. We were blown away. Oysters and squid to start. Skate and prawns for main with sauteed potatoes and veg deserts of chocolate caramel tart and gypsy tart were perfect, but we were so full . Absolutely perfect. Thank you for a lovely meal. 👌
