Great bar, beer & ambience. Definitely worth a visit, or two

Great place, large range of real ales and occasional music. Also a huge library of books that can be read while you are there .

Just want to say thanks to Sarah for making our late afternoon/evening at The Chapel so enjoyable on our day out to Broadstairs, it’s always been a favourite of ours, she went above & beyond & we left with 3 books, stomachs full of snacks & obviously a few drinks! We were there celebrating our wedding Anniversary & it was a great end to the day, so thank you so much, we’ll be back as soon as we can!P.S. Thank god all the Brew dog beers are gone! Xx

Nice range of ciders, bar staff very friendly and relaxed, great selection of books to flick though on the shelves, upstairs as well as ground floor, no standing at the bar yet and compulsory table service, half a dozen peoe in there on a Tuesday afternoon, definitely worth a stop, I even found an d text book I had 30 years ago....

I had spent a lot of my youth searching through the books here. Now it's a bar too! Highly recommend a visit.

Probably our favourite place in Broadstairs? Lovely staff, cosy vibes with a fireplace and candles, good range of ales!

This place is ace. The bar man was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the beers, the pubs history and Broadstairs and the surrounding areas. If in Broadstairs again I will definitely go back.

Couldn't get enough of this place.Cool venue, an old chapel that became a bookshop that became a pub. Great selection of ales, largers and ciders. Also does good cheeses and nibbles.Staff are friendly and knowledgeable with helpful advice on choosing what to drink should you need it. It's away from the beach and facing the highsteet but perfect for an evening drink with friends.Did not have enough time to taste all I wanted, will have to return! No TV from what I saw. They occasionally host live music.

Very good beer section based in an old Chapel, hence the name. They are affiliated to the Brew-dog company, and also carry a very eclectic collection of books to read or buy.
