The Cow Shed Bar & Grill in Thanet

My rump steak was gristly and tough. I asked for medium rare and because of the difference in thicknesses the steak was virtually raw in places and dry and tough in others. It was not a pleasant meal. We waited a long time between ordering and food arriving. Peppercorn sauce was good.

Without a doubt one of our favourite places to eat! This place is a nightmare to get a booking especially if you have a large party, however I can't mark it down for being a busy popular location.The food is pricey but you never feel like you have been ripped off, it is top-quality food and outstanding customer service.Would highly recommend!

Birthday treat and I wasn't disappointed. First visit and although small had a nice atmosphere. Tomahawk steak was superb, service was great and the wine, which is recommended on the menu was a great choice. It is quite expensive, if you go for the large cuts of meat but we'll worth a visit. The diners next to us had the burgers and they looked lovely as well. Will definitely go back to try a burger.

It's been slightly more than a year since our last visit and I felt the food was even better and improved than last time. Dont know the waiters name but he was really good . We sat in the Udder bar if that helps getting him credit. Thank you

Staff seem super lovely and I could imagine sitting in could be a lovely experience but I have to pass comment on the prices I brought 4 fries and portion of pigs in blankets(were yummy and well worth the 6.50 ). now the fries were tasty but they were the medium/small size mcds portion for 4.50 is ridiculous

Beat meal we have had in a long time. Bone marrow gravy was unbelievably good. Great service from ringing to book table to leaving.

What an amazing place. The service and food are outstanding. The decor is brilliant inside and out. The team work so hard. I can not recommend this place highly enough.Well done team.
