The Falstaff is absolutely beautiful, all the staff are so friendly and helpful and professional. We are staying in room 8 , which has a patio garden and allows dogs at a price of £15.00, the room is spotless and beautifully decorated and designed , there are tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. There is a large full length mirror and comfortable bed with a large smart TV on the wall with extra channels on including Netflix. There are 8 rooms at this property. The front outside of the property does not do it justice , for the quirky, beautiful decor inside , there is also a large living room to relax .THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE HIDDEN GEM IN RAMSGATE.The building is grade 2 listed, the garden has table and chairs and the restaurant is large and spacious, and the tables are well spaced out , giving you room and privacy .The bar is fully stocked , and they also do a large selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and spirits , cocktails .Tucked away from the main part of Ramsgate , it is only a short walk to town and Ramsgate main sands, with bars and restaurants.Down the street are quirky shops selling various items and opposite there is a well stocked newsagents, with cash machine. The food is locally sourced and home made , with filling portions , my son had the 6oz burger , fries and coleslaw and brioche bun , it was amazing ! And obviously hand made / home made burger, I had the salt beef bagel , which was delicious! And its so rare to get fresh, homemade food at such a good price .We are absolutely delighted with everything about the Falstaff hotel and restaurant and honestly I can not express how wonderful all the staff are here.Thankyou for making us so comfortable and welcome 🙏

We had an incredible wedding reception with the Falstaff. The courtyard was beautiful, canapes plentiful and delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious and enormous, and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Thank you all

Only problem as I am 5ft 2ins I could not see in the mirror except the top of my head. What a lovely place to stay! Xxxx

We didn’t stay, but stopped for tea and cake when out with our 4 young nieces. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, despite the fact that we came with four under 6 year olds and their scooters! They gave us a big table in their restaurant and not once were we made to feel like we had to sit quietly. My nieces enjoyed their brownies and it added to a great day. Thank you x

We had been going to the coffeeshop for years and it is so terrible now, despite us being very local and wanting to use the coffeshop regularly, we now avoid it. I went this morning to try again and get breakfast for the family...what a mistake! The sandwich was so awful. It was £4 for a bacon sarnie but the 'butter' turned out to be margarine and we were only given 2 small rashers of bacon per sandwich so it was basically all bread and marg. The business does not care about it's customers anymore. We used to be served by a wonderful member of staff, Sarah, who made the best sandwiches. Sadly she left in 2020 and the place has gone totally downhill since then. Dodgy customer service, overpriced and shoddy quality. Such a crying shame, especially given the need in Ramsgate for great coffeeshops.

I called in the other day for an informal business meeting and found the relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff, were perfect for my needs.I had a coffee and a glass of shiraz along with a toasted bagel and Caesar salad. I have also had the full english breakfast from here that is good quality and reasonably priced. A standout local hotel, keep up the good work!
