The Greek Arch in Thanet

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, we had a selection of small plates of Greek dishes whilst sitting out in the sun. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Great view over looking the royal harbour. I highly recommend a visit.

I will start by saying the staff were lovely hospitable people and I can't fault there. But the food was some of the worst food I have ever eaten. The pita was not in million years made at the kitchen, it had the taste of store bought pita from tesco.I ordered the red mullet and it was the worst cooked fish I have ever had. It came swimming in a plate of some kind of juice. My plate was a mess. I forced the food down and tried eating the fish with feta to detract from the rubber that was my meal. My husband ordered chicken kebab and the chicken was overdone and flavourless. Just pieces of chicken on a skewer with a messy attempt at Greek salad.We love Greek cuisine and this restaurant does not do their food justice. We were so looking forward to our meal and it was the biggest disappointment ever

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Fantastic food and the best staff we've experienced in a long time (in particular, Ceśar). Made a great evening out kid free for the first time in AGES! THANK YOU!

5 stars location, 5 stars for waiters, 5 stars for chef and management. We've been there for a quick drink and we ended up ordering food , deserts and one bottle of authentic Greek wine . Everything was delicious, the staff was so nice and the table serving was very quickly. In the next morning we came back for breakfast. Yayi and Osman are great waiters who love their job and brings happiness to the people they are serving. We even had a quick chat with their manager and I can say for sure we will come back.Good job everyone!

Amazing little restaurant. Food was great, good prices and quick. The service we received was beyond any expectations. The waiters were so welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly too which is a massive bonus. Will definitely be returning

The food was okay but a bit pricey for what it was and our order was wrong.Quite chilly in there, so it wasn't very comfortable for us. There were patio style heaters, but they were direct, rather than space heaters.All that said, the staff were welcoming and the 2 guys serving tables were lovely and had a sense of humour.

Lovely restaurant just a short walk from the beach. Set within an arch, this dainty little eatery had a load of options to be enjoyed either outside or indoors. Food tasted fresh, it was hot, superb flavours. If you're in Ramsgate, definitely give it a try

Fantastic food and amazing service, from the moment we called to book a table, Host & Owner Nancy was a delight!Attentive and careful with our allergies, fun and caring. With a beautifully maintained building that is cozy and atmospheric.We will 100% be returning again soon the food was a revelation.

We enjoyed the hospitality at The Greek Arch beyond any expectation. Music was good and not too. loud. Our young waiter was very charming and we noticed that he was very good at putting a smile on every customer's face. The Greek Arch experience made our trip from London worthwhile. What a little gem of a restaurant. Completely by chance we stumbled on this authentic Greek (Cypriut) restaurant whilst enjoying a stroll around Ramsgate Harbour. We were received very warmly at the door, shown to our choice of table. The inside of the restaurant is charming & authentic, you really could be in Cyprus. The lunchtime menu was full of traditional Greek dishes, all homemade from the kitchen, which is fully visible from where you sit. The service provided was pitched at just the right level, attentive but subtle. We will definitely go back & will certainly be taking friends & family, it's too good not to share & I'm really not that selfish.
