Good beers, nice atmosphere, good music at a volume you can chat too. All in, the new owners have got it about right.

Old school outside, new on the inside. Comfortable, welcoming pub, good drinks, friendly atmosphere

Been here many times now and it never lets us down. Absolutely lovely friendly atmosphere, dog friendly and locals very chatty and welcoming. Highly recommended a visit.

Beautiful little boozer with a great selection of kentish beers (alongside the usual pub offerings). Even had gluten free on tap. Barman was super friendly and there was a lovely 'local' vibe. Lots of space inside (bar gets crowded but plenty of seating elsewhere), we managed to park up our little one's buggy with no issues. Also dog friendly 👍🏽. Stylish decor, inviting atmosphere and great drinks - difficult not to like the charm of this place. Will be heading back as soon as we can.Now hosting blues nights and bottle clubs last Thursday the month

Just happened upon this place by chance one wet lunchtime. Lovely interior and exterior. Friendly landlord, discrete music and NO TV.

Publicans with a passion for providing good ale and nice personalities to boot, I had a nice chat with a regular couple, so a very nice first visit experienced, with many more to come

Hands down our favourite pub. Old school charm and incredibly friendly, serving local beer. What more could you want?

The new owners have turned this pub into a lovely friendly place to go. Music every Thursday evening and a good range of ale and cider. Served by very friendly staff.

First visit as we have just moved to the area. Was warmly welcomed by the bar staff and locals sitting around. Sat chatting to a local and the drinks were very reasonable and good.(Guinness) Owner came out and introduced himself, would thoroughly recommend a visit. Will make this our local.

A wonderfully old pub, that was probably there when Ramsgate was just a village. This pub used to suffer from a bland interior, that was completely out of character with the pub. But no the place has been tidied up inside and the interior now looks as complementary and wonderful as the old exterior of the property. It gives it a really nice cosy feeling. I totally recommend this pub now.
