The Margate Coffee Shed in Thanet

Coffee was great, staff were excellent. Only reason I didn’t give 5 * was because the Victoria Sponge cake was a big disappointment - tasted very artificially sweet. Would rather have paid more for a real home made cake. My husband had a cherry almond cake which was fine though.

It took 50 minutes to get our order of food. My friends got the Shroom and Bacon Brunch, and all four poached eggs were over cooked and non of them were runny. I got the American pancakes. Worth noting that the Bacon Brunch and American pancakes say they come with streaky bacon on the menu but are actually served with back bacon.Otherwise fine, the coffee and smoothies are nice.

Really great coffee, delicious brunch and service. One plate was served with cold eggs but they remade it without fuss and offered a free coffee. Recommend.

We had the veggie and vegan breakfasts which were both great and pretty large portions, so £7.50 for each seemed good value. Staff were all very pleasant and it's a nice interior.

Great place to sit down and have a nice coffee and pastry or food. They have a really cool and retro design coffee place. The coffee is good and make fresh in front of you! Great view and location along the front of the beach! Would recommend for sure, along with polite staff, could be a bit more inviting to customers and greet people a little more but could of just been this day I went in. 👍🏻 5/5

Location & staff are amazing. Note that menu doesn't match what's actually served. Recommend you check latest photos. Parents make note, great baby changing area in the toilet.
