We went to the hotel restaurant today for lunch before heading home. There were a few customers though it didn't appear over busy. The staff were friendly though queried the order a few times as they were not sure of what we had ordered. When the food arrived "items" were missing, with the roasts they forgot the potatoes and the cauliflower cheese. My mother who has food allergies ordered the steak medium, which was overcooked (though they assured us that the food would be prepared away from (wheat and gluten), however as I write this review my mother is currently being ill so they didn't manage that.Honestly the food was not great. None of us really enjoyed our meals and won't be going back. If you have food allergies personally I would say avoid. The oak hotel/sixty six appear to be linked. We walked in through the oak hotel but we're sitting in sixty six....Edit. The company contacted me after this review and investigated and followed up from my response. I was pleasantly surprised with how througher there investigation was and I feel my review was taken seriously. I would like to thank them for contacting me and based on there response may try visiting again at some point in the future.

Rodent ProblemI stayed in Room 308 on 06/04/22 and was very aware of Rats or Mice running around in my ceiling all night. There are holes drilled in the ceiling which suggests a recent, failed attempt to poison. In the Morning the receptionist acknowledged my complaint and was obviously aware of the issue. I emailed the sound recordings I had taken throughout the night and received an apology. I was offered a refund and promised a new room without rodents.07/04/22 - I was moved to another room, with no bathroom light. On leaving The Oak the next morning, the General Manager, Jamie Porter proceeded to deny his Rodent problem and my refund, suggesting there were seagulls running around in my ceiling at 1am!A very disappointing experience all round and I would avoid this establishment at all costs.

Only stayed 1 night for a surprise party. Bar is good, good selection of drinks, food nice. Staff really friendly and helpful. Room we had was small but served it purpose. You need long arms to reach the loo roll if sat on loo as its right opposite you about 2ft away 🙄. We heard from other guests that if you had a room on the front you can hear the night club which is right next to it..and all the hustle n bustle on the street... It was a Saturday night so... Where we were we didn't hear anything.. Would we stop again. Probably...

Perfect location, lovely staff and good breakfast. Value for money. Notching down as we struggled sleeping, the room was too hot and when the window was open the wind was making the windows rattle.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we stopped for a drink and a bit to eat. Really lovely bacon, brie cranberry sandwiches. Very fresh and very tasty. Staff were friendly. Highly recommended for a bite to eat.

Great food, lovely staff in a smart clean environment. Definitely recommend especially with choice of menu. Sit inside or outside looking over harbour.

5 stars to the Oak Hotel itself0 stars due to the annoying night club outside the hotelThis is a difficult review to do. We absolutely loved the hotel and the beautiful views of the marina (look at the pictures! It's gorgeous!).The staff were accommodating and they brought a bottle of prosecco to our room to welcome us as my request for my boyfriend's birthday. The price was great for the huge bedroom and views we had, the breakfast, which was included was fantastic too and the staff very friendly. However!! Be aware of the night club outside!! They have thirsty Thursdays where they sell cheap drinks and it's so loud until the early hours. Then Friday again! Until after 4am! So loud, you can hear the music and even the conversations. It ruined it for us as we couldn't sleep until they closed. If we ever go back, it'll be during the week, never again on the weekend unfortunately! because it's a lovely place!I would have loved to rate it 5 stars :-(

Lovely place to stay. A walk from the harbour and the room and facilities were lovely. Good sized TV too x

Booked through booking.com. I rang the hotel prior to visit to arrange parking. Very close by organised by the hotel for a £5 charge payable when checking in. Fast, friendly and efficient check in. Rooms very nice with en suite bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly and attentive staff in the bar/restaurant. The largest Wetherspoons in the country is dead opposite with excellent views of the harbour and sea. A fantastic place for a sunrise coffee. I would highly recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to staying again soon.

Went to Ramsgate for a work meal out, on entering i was met by a very helpful and cheerful member of staff, booking in was easy, the room was adequate for the price, quite dated but the bed was extremely comfortable. The price included breakfast, that was a bonus. Again the staff were extremely helpful and polite, there was one in particular, unfortunately I didn't get her name, that went above and beyond to ensure my stay was good.
