Arrived to late for hot food 15:30 but a nice cup of tea in their yard, and a pleasant Ice-cream to take away nine quid for two

Lovely friendly place, staff are wonderful. Me and my partner has a Eton mess and a rhubarb and apple crumble and teas. Everything was excellent, service etc.Would recommend!!!

We visited the Parlour today with 2 friends from London, who had read reviews and asked if they could have lunch with us. Having been several times before, I had booked within 5 minutes of them asking. I had explained that every element would be exceptional ingredients used in a completely honest way, no fancy names or flashy presentation.We could have chosen any or every item on the menu and received a great meal. In fact, we chose 3 different mains-all of which were delightful. The homemade pie my friend had no disappointing gap under the top crust before you found the meat. Chunky pieces of chuck steak filled the whole pie surrounded in beautiful stout gravy, I would have been envious except my beef hotpot more than matched couple with a herby dumpling. GREAT!The ladies had great roast pork and emptied their plates, no better recommendation possible. All at outstanding value. 2 very happy friends.

Great food as always. The duck with orange sauce was lovely and my friend thoroughly enjoyed his cod.

Our first meal out since covid outbreak and first visit to the parlour..Well worth it, very good menu on offer, and the food served couldn't be faulted. Together with very pleasant staff, the place to eat in Birchington.

Absolutely Stunning, the BEST Breakfast EVER...4 of us had the English Breakfast and every single item of food was Hot. The young lady serving is very polite, professional and Very attentive.We will definitely be coming back next year.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic food from Glenn, clean plates all round and your plum and almond tart is so tasty with cherry ice-cream. We will definitely be recommending you.

Really nice. Great food. Friendly and polite staff. Very accommodating.This was an ice cream parlour when I was a little girl. Always went there. Glad it's a great place to eat there days.
