Youngsters at the bar so be patient (we all have to start some time). Good sunday roast but beef was a bit tough .. could have done with some steak knives. Veg was great. Beer (london pride) was good .. other half not impressed with Pip cider .. watery and no taste ?

A nicely laid out pub. Great beer that's well looked after. Fantastic variety of food at good prices. Good seating area outside with shading if needed

Restaurant: Good food and wine at reasonable prices. We had four separate dishes...fajitas, chicken, fish n chips, and linguine. All very good. The chef was happy to change the chicken to include a portions of chips and peas instead of the suggested risotto. Non alcoholic beer available; staff happy to allow one of us to bring non alcoholic wine. Staff very attentive. Will return!

Really beautiful room, nicely decorated and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was a great price. Only couple of downsides were no onsite parking, however there is a pay and display very close where 24 hour parking was about £5 and also a residential road where we parked for free. There is also no breakfast in the pub. We were recommended the cafe across the road so there is an option for food if wanted. Would 100% stay again.

We were in the area for a little break away, we chose to have our food here on the Thursday night (May 5th) and the girl serving was great, very welcoming, talkative and very happy to help. We had a query about what we noticed was a local food - fried pickle - the chef came out to us to ask us about it, didn’t have any pickles but treated us to some fried pickled onions which were lovely! Would certainly suggest people to come here.

Good food but have a gluten intolerance and suffered through the night and the following day.phoned the restaurant not complaining but to enquire that everything was gluten free as I was I formed whilst dining.Left my name and contact No with the staff member i spoke to on the phone asking if he would let me know all was as stated and cooked as required. He said he would get back to me BUT obviously not really interested as not heard back Shame as food and service was good.

Claire and her team did a splendid buffet for our family. The food was excellent and their service at the bar was prompt , polite and with a smile.

Had an absolutely lovely Valentines dinner with husband! The table was laid beautifully and we couldn’t fault the food! So many little attentions to detail and everything was just perfect! It was great value, the staff were attentive and we had a really lovely evening! Can’t wait for the next ‘event!’ Xx
