Lovely people. Lovely food (baby shower). Great room for the party. We will be using this facility in the future. Buffet supplied was really tasty, fresh and well presented.Strongly recommend

Lovely friendly welcome, quick service, varied menu for all tastes and size of appetite, amazing food. I ordered homemade pate followed by chicken Douville. Tasted wonderful and really good portions. Great presentation, all freshly made with top notch ingredients, reasonably priced for the food you're getting. I needed a doggy bag for half my chicken as i couldnt eat it all, nothing too much trouble for any of the staff. I would highly recommend this place to eat whether you're looking for a full meal or a light bite. Pub atmosphere is really friendly. Great local place.

Amazing food and happy, friendly staff. Although we weren't locals (wish we were!) we felt welcomed and were well looked after. Thank-you. It was lovely that some staff remembered my friend's father who lived close by who recently passed away. RIP Ken. ("Orange Juice Man"!) 💕

Had a large family lunch there in the back room, absolutely fantastic food and lovely staff, nothing was to much trouble. Again the food is awesome 👌

The lovely staff squeezed us in even though they were exceptionally busy. Understandable why you need to book.Hearty meals with fresh vegetables and plenty of everything. Maybe a starter and a pudding next time, the puddings were missed due to full tummies; next time we'll be ready...Enjoy this lovely pub restaurant, just remember to book.

My extended family & group of friends have been coming to this pub for 25+ years, staff always good or excellent. Reasonably priced, typical pub grub & the outdoor play area is good. BUT the menu needs to include allergy alternatives & info.They need gluten-free & dairy-free options at least. All they offered was to remove items (from the only meal I could eat), without replacement, although they brought me some olive oil on request for my plain salad. No reduction in price though. I really hope they get up to date on this it's not difficult these days to make reasonable adjustmens.

What a brilliant cosy lovely decorated place for Christmas. The food was brilliant and great staff. Thank you for accommodating our big family this afternoon after my niece booked for us all to be there for our yearly family get together. We hope to see you again next year keep offering great food and service as not every place as such a high standard 😊

Love this pub very local to me and easy accessible. Car 🚙 park was almost full very lucky to find a free space. Booked a table for 6 people (family) and met up in the car park. Pub was very busy , function room booked and sounds of happy children could heard . Sat at our table and was immediately looked after by the kind and caring staff. Atmosphere is always friendly here and you are made to feel welcome straight away . Ordered drinks 🍺 and food which was served at a reasonable waiting time. Food was well presented and tasted good . Generous portions both dinner and deserts . Children’s play area was clean and safe . Lovely afternoon spent here with family not been here for a little while . Covid rules applied hand sanitizer everywhere. One thing I have to mention is the Tikka Malsa is not what I expected it was flavourless and served with the wrong rice . Aldi’s own frozen curry tops the Racing Greyhound version. Sorry but bland .

This has to be the best value for money food in Thanet we were back in here again had a starter of the 80's classic prawn cocktail, chicken Kiev cod n chips,veg, sticky toffee pud n cherry cheesecake, fantastic staff,please if you haven't been give it a try but be careful,,it's a big plate of food!,

It is one of the best pubs I have been in. The staff were great and helpful. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We were just visiting the area but would seek it out again when we are that way.
