Great food, fantastic staff! Had a great girls afternoon with our little ones. The chicken was lush! Chocolate fudge cake was amazing! 3 of us had that each! Definitely back for more!!

Just been to the hungry horse Margate, I’m very disappointed with pretty much everything about it, we booked a table for 3 adults and a child, we were put in front of the back doors of the restaurant which constantly had children running in and out to the garden, I asked the staff to move us because it was extremely drafty and cold for us and was told they wouldn’t move us as all the tables were booked however there were plenty of empty tables the whole time we were there. I had a big plate curry which was edible but cold, my wife and son both had the sliders which were cold and to be honest made McDonald’s look like a 4 star restaurant but the best was my 3 year old granddaughter’s meal which was a microwave pizza sent out on the scolding hot plate they had microwaved it on along with cold garlic bread fingers, utterly disgusted with the level of service, I know you get what you pay for but this took the p**s. Shame really!! Used to be a great place to eat!!

Came here for a family meal, food was delicious and quick to arrive - Eileen was my server & I couldn’t rate her highly enough! She was so friendly but also very professional - will be returning!!

We were a party of five adults on Sunday Mothers day , on arrival we found we were expected to sit in a booth that would seat 4 maximum, having said that the manager was as helpful as she could be on a busy day + as all tables were reserved she got us a chair to put at the end of the table , which had its own problems because it was in the way of people passing . I ordered a roast chicken dinner and didn't wait too long to be served , I quickly noted the chicken was just 2 small bits from a bag of frozen and wasn't cooked properly, I couldn't get my fork in the cauliflower, the yorkshire pudding was like leather and the potatoes were watery and inedible again cooked from frozen and a spoonful of powdery packet mash, very disappointing all round , we have ate here many times over the years without a problem .

This restaurant is much better than the hooden horse. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was fast. The staff were very welcoming and the customer service was great too

David was the member of staff that served us and he made the experience very good. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Menu was great, right price and atmosphere for a quick bite to eat with a friend.

Haven't been here for the longest time. It was not too crowded. The staff were welcoming and efficient and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a return visit.

Food arrived fairly quickly, even though we had a table of 8. The thing with hungry horse is you don't know what meal you are going to get. Sometimes good other times bad.

The home of comfort food! Friendly staff and good value for money. Cara was particularly helpful during our last visit, would always recommend for a fun afternoon!

Drinks took 20 mins with food getting there before. Drinks were delivered rather hastily with hostile waiter deserting tray on table. On top of that when food arrived, extremely disappointed with presentation and food was also inedible. Nachos sharer was stale, sent it back, came back warmer with extra toppings. Ended up not eating it. Lasagna was flooded with oils, tasted bland, to make it worse salad tasted old and sauce tasted like vomit.Toilets were frankly disgusting. In mens only the hand dryer worked properly. In women’s one door did not seem to fit into door frame, one door was missing locks entirely and the last had liquid all over the floor.
