Yard of Ale in Thanet

What a little gem! Absolutely loved our visit here. The atmosphere is perfectly charming and the service exceptional. No photos as that would be intrusive and really you need to just go and see and enjoy 😊

Been here plenty of times and it was busier and friendlier on those occasions. Ale was good, just didn't have its usual buzz or atmosphere. Could have been just a slow day. Normally would have given 5stars

Quirky not quite micro pub .. very well kept ales (hence the name) they do have bar snacks as well. Watch out for the alcohol % on some of the ciders or you may end up carrying the missus home 🙂

Always very friendly and welcoming, great beer (love the Titanic Plum Porter) and great prices. Also very dog friendly.

Good ales, and a lovely mango cider, set in an old stable and appropriately decorated!

Been buying beer and having it delivered by owners Shawn and Clare through lockdown so a visit was long overdue. We weren't disappointed friendly staff, customers, dogs. Oh and the beer was excellent although I already knew that..They do gin and Fever Tree Tonics so my wife was happy too 😊

Great micro pub. Enclosed yard with a variety of spread out seating and with retractable canopy and a lovely atmosphere of old world feeling. Serving hatch was via the barn door which was cool. We didnt go inside as the weather was great but that looked very old too. Very dog friendly. Nice section of beers and a lovely ambience. There was a steady stream of a variety of people passing through and chatting but there always seemed to be some space left. There was quite a bit of seating
