Athena in The Vale of Glamorgan

Amazing place for food. Sadly I'll no longer be returning our order came to £8.90 however charged us £10. I have no issue with giving away £1.10 they obviously need it more than I, why would they attempt to over charge.

Food was disgusting. Never had such a bad pizza before and after effects. Called the restaurant to explain what had happened and explain how out of two pizzas one is barely touched. Guy that answered the phone was very rude and said hes too busy so he put the phone down. Will never order from here again!

Nice fish n chips. Good service.

A visit to the seaside (Barry) is incomplete without fish and chips. This is the only Halal place we could find. We were so hungry that it tasted great. The famous ones near the beach claimed to serve halal but also sell bacon/hotdogs.

The food was hot but the pie and chips were extremley greasy and the curry sauce had no taste to it. Very disappointing as the food is normally ok.

Fish and chips was lovely and hot. The curry sauce was piping hot and delicious. Fish bites were crispy and delicate. Came with tartar sauce and wedges of lemon.Highly recomend.Staff are really nice and pleasant.

Food was good. went in late so only had enough chips for one, but threw 2 sausage in batter in for free.

The Athena Takeaway is located in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan; the takeaway provides food such as fish, chips, mushy peas, gravy, curry sauce for example; it's a good quality takeaway serving good portions for good value for money.The Athena Takeaway is a long established, good addition to Barry.

Have frequented this place lots of time after a night out and also home delivery for a night in . Cannot fault either , always piping hot tasty food and the delivery is so quick ..we highly recommend the chicken curry and chips in a tray . Will not go anywhere else now and the staff are always super friendly and efficient .

After waiting over 40 minutes for a large bag of chips sausage and a chicken breast we finally get home with complete and utter disappointment with what we got Charged for. The large bag of chips was basically a handfull of chips the sausage was burnt and the chicken was basically bone. We will never go there again wast of time and money with how much they charge Aswell is disgusting. We could of just spent The money on a takeaway it would of been way more Filling and would of been to our house with in less than 40 minutes Horrible place to go for food.
