Big Sams Fish & Chips in The Vale of Glamorgan

Absolutely dreadful customer service, I rang and asked to speak to the manager and the young boy said to him “ There’s a women on the phone banging on about she wants to speak to the manager “ He then replied in the background “ I make kebabs “ he didn’t have the decency to come on the phone and solve the matter after we just spent £83 in his shop! It’s not the first time they have messed our order up. None of us from the caravan site will be putting anymore money in his pocked that’s for sure.

Place a large order. NO VINEAGAR.The cod must have been refried as it was covered in vinegar and I hate the stuffI wont be going back! I don't want a refund.

Picked up a collection to get home and find out none off the sauces where put in the bag so my food was cold after going back to the shop and home again!When I went back to the shop to get my forgotten sauces the member off staff behind the till was telling a customer how rude I was on the phone about the sauces as I stood there and felt like they where making fun off me. I had paid extra for separate sauces so you would expect to get what you pay for and not hearing staff talk about you to customers.

Very clean looking place, good value for money and very tasty too.Would highly recommend a visit.

The fish and chips here were really nice. The delivery we had was really good. Staff was very friendly. The prices were reasonable. The portion size was great.

Great food, especially their chicken strips and their burgers. But don't order on their website. It seems that other orders and walk-in orders get priority over website orders. Today I waited 45 minutes to collect food, waiting 25 minutes after the time the order-tracker said it was ready. That's really not on.

Lovely fish and chips and they do the best Irish curry !

Just received my second order, both times the food was delivered within half an hour. It was hot, really tasty and the cod was gorgeous. I'm happy.

Big Sam's what a let down. I have had takeaway and deliveries from you before that I couldn't fault. But unfortunately not this time after 21/2 hours and a phone call to check where our food was we eventually got some rubber chips obviously reheated, a pasty that had obviously been microwaved but for to long as it was very hard and dehydrated. My cod was like warm at best. A real shame worst was a young lad on the phone told me sorry we have been very busy lol not with rubber reheated chips.Big shame Big Sam's.

Best to order your dinner straight after lunch since it takes about 3 hours to arrive. Food arrives soggy and lukewarm, and nobody at the store has a clue what is going on or how to run a delivery service.
