Brewers Fair in The Vale of Glamorgan

The staff have always been most friendly and helpful to me and all other guests ever since I first had meals there about two and a half years ago.Today, with prior notice of my choice of food, they even made sure that it was ready for me to eat at 12 noon so that I could have time to spare before a booked taxi 🚕 would arrive to get me to the train station for the 13.00 train 🚆 to Cardiff and hence to my home.I have had breakfast, dinner and one lunch here.My lunch on Saturday 23rd April absolutely warranted a photo.

Had breakfast & dinner here on two days. The food is just as you expect from this chain and the premises are spotlessly clean & staff friendly and helpful.The downside is that we were refused entry on our second night (for drinks only) as a total of 12 of us wanted to use the bar and you can't use the bar if you're not buying food! This is most bizarre & doesn't happen at the two Brewers Fayre locations nearest to me. Ironic as of the 12 in the party, eight of us were staying in the adjacent Premier Inn.It quite spoiled our second night and made us wish we had spent our collective money elsewhere, so the verdict is that it's OK but there are better choices locally I'm very sorry to say.

We really enjoyed visiting this place in Barry Island. The staff is amazing. People are very friendly. They did accommodate our children (12 and 14 years old) to be able to sit inside in the warmth, while myself and my husband sat outside with our 🐕. The food was hot and fresh. Beautiful spot to eat.

Food was fairly shocking tasted like it had been under the heat lamp since October, The ice cream was ok enough i suppose gets 2 stars, for, one because it’s cheap AF with a meal deal and 2 the guy front of house was super enthusiastic and trying his best to be positive in a what is an awful franchise restaurant.

Waitress was very pleasant and courteous brought our drinks and made sure to put beer mats down in place. Order for meals were taken when we were ready not made to feel rushed. When meals were brought to table they were all well presented and hot and we all enjoyed our food in a very comfortable atmosphere. A very pleasant experience in a nice clean and uncluttered the premises will definitely use this restaurant again

Lovely staff. Asked for particular table which we got. Nothing was too much trouble. Food arrived fairly quickly. All the food arrived together and was nice and hot. 4 clean plates so must have been good. Reasonable price. Definitely will go back

We came for breakfast with santa, it was brill.Booked last a few days before so we were lucky to get in. Santa walked around and chatted to the kids while they had breakfast then had pictures in a corner where they'd set up a Christmas scene. Was lovely. We loved it. Breakfast was great, so much choice for everyone and i believe it was unlimited.Kids were also given a colouring pack on arrival. Prices were good. Would recommend 👌🏻

Nice experience and perfect if staying in the Premier Inn next door. Staff were excellent and always happy to help, evening meal, drinks and all you can eat breakfast.

Fish & chips and buffet breakfast both very nice. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Great value.

The food was poor. I ordered the tandoori mixed grill - it had a piece of steak that was so tough it was inedible, a piece of chicken that was just cooked ( I chopped it into pieces to check) 2 sausages, cold chips and a popodum which had a pool of cold oil in it. I would not recommend the food. I left quite a bit of it.The staff were very pleasant.
