Decks in The Vale of Glamorgan

An idyllic location to wine and dine. I wasn't that impressed with The Deck burger, as it wasn't served with the described onion rings or triple cooked chips. However, my wife was highly satisfied with the duck, the child's meal was a good portion and the waiting staff were very pleasant.

Had the calamari starter, fish and chips and a mocha after. Our family of 4 had a good time here, in general the food was of a high standard, and our table probably had the best view of the marina. Minor comments: the window was quite mucky on the outside, so couldn't take clear pics of outside, and chips could hv been better / more crispy.

The food was out of this world by far the best food I have ever had! Staff were all very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us and even when leaving every member of staff thanked us. Will be attending again 100%

Nice place in a lovely location, staff helpful & friendly BUT the time it took for the food was well below par; we arrived 5 minutes before booked time 13:00, went straight to the table 15min wait for drinks & food order, after 14:00 before the starters came, then well on to 15:00 for the mains, okay complimentary drinks for the wait. Well after 16:00 before we left, yes we had a nice time & we wasn't in a rush but yes the total of the delays did really take the edge off a special occasion disappointing...

Absolutely stunning roast dinners massive portions and everything was superb!Today I had a family sharing roast dinner and the pan cookie with icecream with caramel sauce it was Absolutely amazing I cannot wait to go back for seconds 😋

Great service and great food. We had the Sunday roast to share...very reasonably priced and delicious. Couldn't eat it all but the staff were very obliging and boxed it up so we could take it home. Thank you. We'll be back!

We had a great roast here. Andy was our server and she was excellent. Staff were happy and food was great. Gave me a whole half of chicken for lunch. Good potato as well which is important. Great venue for a meal especially in the day.

This lively contemporary restaurant is based in Penarth marina with a large decked area overlooking the marina. There is free parking across the main road. The restaurant is light and friendly with a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly attentive. The food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced.

The experience has been incredible! It's a very nice quiet dock with amazing food and wine! Service has been great too! Definitely coming back here when back in town!Must have - Calamari starter and the French fries!Note: on a sunny day, there may not be sun on all tables, so make sure you ask for a suitable seating position (given your time of reservation)

The food was amazing, a meal I won’t ever forget!! Fantastic service, great for seafood lovers and something for those who don’t like fish too! Picturesque place to eat on the marina, bit cold at the moment as the doors are open to the outside part, but you can even ask for a blanket! 10/10
