Visited on a Saturday night, it was fairly quiet even though they had some live entertainment. It appears to have a regular clientele who know each other. It was clean, tidy and warm. There is a varied choice of food available. The main thing that let's It down is the drinks selection, it's the usual pub fodder and they do not have a decent beer/ale available. Real ale is a popular choice with drinkers and with the vast selection available there is no excuse not to stock any!

Friendly staff who made three takeaway cod and chips to take out for my mum to eat on the seafront on her 80th birthday. The take out was not open, but the chef kindly said heβd do it for us. The battered cod was fresh and delicious and we enjoyed delicious food in the sunshine; exactly what my mum wanted to do for her birthday lunch! Thank you very much to all the staff .

When the food (large battered cod) was brought out to me, I was tempted to take a photo of it. To my mind, it was more important to start eating it.It also helped my enjoyment of the place to see seven elderly men nearby talking and drinking (or vice versa). It reminded me of seeing a similar sized group about 30 years ago in Scotland. Both of the above elements were pluses in a long, tiring and very rewarding day. In a way they helped to overshadow the disappointment of not being able to watch Cardiff Blues play Harlequins.Certainly a day to remember.

Lovely food, friendly staff. Plenty of space between tables so we all keep safe.

Amazing Sunday roast for a great price! Dessert was lovely! We'll definitely be back.

The 16 Oz T-Bone is the best I've had in Barry! Flavor packed deep and beefy notes. Likewise the fried squid one of the largest bite size pieces you'll find in Barry. The bubble bobble prawns were huge and delicious. Even the chips were chippy like. If they can install some fly traps this would be one of the best grills in Barry.
