This is the BEST place to go for Authentic italian cuisine in the area. This menu is full to the brim with brilliant food. I would definitely think about going here if you are passing through the town and would like to have a decent meal with pleasant service.

Honestly my experience with this place is horrendous, everything there is sub-par to the point where I'd rather go to a Pizzahut, or dare I say a McDonald's instead of this place. The plates I were given were greasy beyond belief, most of the food I was given was either dry, or swimming in a disgusting pool of grease, it was horrible. The only saving grace for this place were the staff, besides one who shall go unnamed. Overall, my experience at il vesuvio was less than enjoyed, and I shall not be going again.

Had a lovely meal at a family Italian restaurant, nearby to where we are staying. Service was excellent, felt very appreciated and well looked after. Food was beautiful, nothing too much trouble. Kids had hot chocolate Nutella pizza for desert they were blown away 😂. Thank you for a lovely night

Il Vesuvio is a fantastic restaurant, the staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is rich. They were very accommodating to our requests & very attentive the whole night.The food is incredible, authentic and perfectly seasoned. I had a steak and my wife had the seabass which was succulent and divine.The owner was very friendly and made everyone feel like family I highly recommend this restaurant.

Down to earth Italian, any one expecting fancy decor may be a little disappointed. However service is excellent and my calzone was perfect. Kids thought the margarita pizzas were a little " mushy" so a star off. Will definitely make a return visit. Thanks to all the staff for a very pleasant visit.
