My family and I visited yesterday for my father's birthday. Upon arrival, staff were welcoming and showed us to our table. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The staff gave us plenty of time to choose and order our drinks and meals. The food was beautiful with complements from around the table. However, we weren't particularly keen on the hot sauce on the starters (especially my niece, who wasn't happy with the hot sauce on the calamari).Parking is available at the front and back (overflow) of the house. I parked in the overflow as it was easier to access from my direction of travel. The road up to the overflow had been battered by the recent storm, causing the road to be littered by leaves and branches, and the parking area was covered by moss but plenty of space available. The stairs to the entrance were well lit. The rest of my family parked in the front but found it difficult to make the turn. Again, there are plenty of spaces, and we'll lit.Overall, we would all be happy to visit again!

After a long days sailing we decided to have a hot meal, due to the CV-19 restrictions and the restaurant being closed a take away was called for. Got to the restaurant which is easy to find, there is a carpark to the front of the building and apparently a large one to the rear. When coming from the Cardiff direction take care not to overshoot the entrance as it turns sharply. The building has been nicely restored and is clean and pleasant. I've attached some photos I took on my visit. There was a bit of a delay in getting the meals, this was due to the amount of orders being phoned in....the phone was non stop, which is a great sign! I could see into the kitchen, which appeared to be very clean, with some fantastic smells coming from it! There is a bar area, which is obviously closed at the moment. Our meals were excellent, well flavoured and just spicy enough. My two crew mates had chicken and I had swordfish, mine was fresh tasting and was a great sized meal. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.Raj, the owner is to be commended for keeping cooking through these hard times, and I hope to have a meal there once the lockdown is over.

This is a bit of a find.....we were passing and decided to give it a go as people we know had recommended it. It used to be a very old country pub so it's a bit of shock to enter the low ceilinged building and find an Indian restaurant.......bu oh what a place. We arrived and were seated promptly, our drinks order taken and a huge carousel of pompadom and chutneys etc put on the table. The menu is not huge, it has the usual suspects of Korma, madras, tikka masala etc.......but it has a selection of their house specials that all sound sooo good. My wife had chicken madras and I had their take on chicken dopiaza. As can be seen from the photo the presentation was superb and it tasted fantastic with the spiced chicken set off by the sweet onions and very hot chilli if you dare......amazing. this has to be the best chicken dish I have had in 40 years of going to indian restaurants.
