Breakfast was one of the best I've had in ages, sat outside prompt service, and very helpful

The best café I have ever had breakfast in. Service and food is excellent and the café is very clean. Breakfast food is cooked to perfection and I couldn't fault any of it. I would definitely recommend to others.

Great fish and chips and much more in the Cafe on the front at Barry Island if you are looking out to sea it is on the right hand side under cover and is well situated to be able to sit inside cafe or sit on the wall to enjoy meal. If you are sitting outside for food do remember there are seagulls around who like to share what you have so please be careful not to let them pinch your food before you enjoy it yourself. Always place packaging and bits of food left in the waste bins provided do not litter the beaches or frontage with litter and food waste.

John's is a great café. Great food, fantastic staff and child friendly - there is no problem supplying ice cream for breakfast! We have been visiting John's for 7 years, on and off season, and have never been disappointed.

They are one of the last remaining old cafes. They cater for vegans making the best oat latte I've ever had as well as vegan Welsh cakes and for the meat eater they make the best sausage and egg sandwich bar none. My favourite cafe 20 out of 10

John's cafe is always a pleasure to visit. Good, honest food and friendly service - even if no-one is actually called 'John'.

On our visit to Barry Island we popped into John’s Cafe for something to eat and a lovely cup of tea,the food was very enjoyable and the staff were really nice.The service was excellent as we had our food in no time at all.If you are visiting Barry I can recommend this cafe.👍
