"K9 plus 1 was opened in 2015 as the first dog themed/friendly coffee shop as there was Barry little choice for owners when it came to eating out with their four legged friends we pride ourselves in our cleanliness and service. We offer a choice of delicious Homemade dishes cooked to the highest standard possible. We welcome all dogs. It is not a requirement to have a a fur baby when visiting, everybody is welcome. Why not pop in and give us a try."

Enjoyed a lovely vegetarian breakfast and lovely big mug of tea this morning. It was delicious! My partner enjoyed the vegan breakfast. Food was very reasonably priced, good quality and well cooked. The staff were absolutely lovely! So chatty and friendly. We loved the whole experience. Best of all, our dog had the yummiest frozen yoghurt for dogs and was a very happy pooch! Will definitely visit again when we are next in Barry.

Breakfast is lovely in there. Dogs are allowed in as long as they behave. Food was served pretty quickly . Well done guys

Me and my family came last week lovely service from the lady and the man, they were very good with my toddler, he said thank you man and lady for the food as we left we can't wait to come back soon , thank you for being so kind and caring 😊 lovely people and friendly atmosphere . Prices are very good also as we were on tight budget due to waiting for pay day.

We love coming here and have been since we got our dog 2 1/2 years ago. It's a small cafe, but what they lack in space, is more than made up for in friendliness and lovely home made cakes and lush coffee. It can get busy, but please don't let this put you off. If you have a dog, you have to try their peanut butter dog biscuits too!

K9 plus 1 hosted my sister's dog's birthday party (yes, we're a very extra family) and they were so patient even when dogs spilled things over and barked incessantly. Thanks so much k9 plus 1! I'll be back with my dogs again.
