Marcos in the Park in The Vale of Glamorgan

I love stopping here for a coffee on my dog walk. Ruth and her team are always very friendly, the views are stunning and the espresso is just what I need.

Tried to buy a cappuccino but there is a £5 minimum charge for cards. I offered to pay extra as I didn't want to buy more but was refused....pathetic. Left without buying anything.

As a family we love a walk around porthkerry and a pit stop to see Mrs Marco at the cafe. The staff in this little gem of a place are so friendly and welcoming. Our personal favourites are the Sausage and bacon baguette and the brie and cranberry Panini. Reasonable prices for a tasty brunch/lunch with great coffee and surroundings. It always get a big 👍from us.

Incredibly slow service. An older, female member of staff was friendly, although many of the staff were rude and disinterested. Ice creams are very tasty.

Why close early on a hot lovely day? I went to the cafe to buy some ice-creams for my children, to be told we close at 16.30. I was turned away, I said the time was 16.28. The member of staff just turned her back on me.

Nice cafe near the playground. The place is close to the beach and the area is beautiful to explore.

Was there with my dad yesterday for an ice cream and was very pleased to see all the gluten-free and vegan options in the baked goods section. So I got a flapjack slice as well which was delicious.

Really poor experience for a Wednesday afternoon, staff member was so unbelievably slow, and soooo miserable. A smile wouldn't of gone a miss. If you can't be nice and friendly to customer, don't work in a front of house position. Coffee was also very poor for the price, some coffee training is most definitely needed!!

I love coming here. Parking is good. Cafe is lovely. People are welcoming. Beach is a nice place to go to. Park area is great for the kids. People love to spend the day at the large field. Bring picnic and a gazebo! 👍

Popped in here Saturday late afternoon after a muddy walk down to the coast.Lovely staff and a great looking place.Amazing cakes on showSeating outside with toilets near by (Not in the cafe)We ordered one coffee and hot chocolate for my wife and kids. Also various cakes. All of it was very niceI also noticed they have a free book exchange and also free coffee grinds for compost. The small things count in the overall experience.Worth the visitPlenty of free Parking
