Morrisons in The Vale of Glamorgan

I ordered via electronic menu toasted ham & cheese and a latte eat in. Once I sat down latte tasted like burnt dish water. No brown sugar, no sweetner only white sugar. Staff came up behind me said you order toasted ham and cheese. Yes I replied. It arrived with only cheese. When I took it back to the kitchen, staff raised her voice said I agreed to cheese. Just lost regular customer!

Breakfast arrived and looked lovely. I realised we had not been given our cup for tea so I asked staff. A male staff member shouted from kitchen he was just putting dishwasher on so I would have to wait. The female staff member then told me to go to the coffee shop at the other end of the cafe and get one.I went to get one and she followed me.... Not sure why she couldn't get it for me, my breakfast was sat going cold.I returned to my seat and wanted some brown sauce so I again asked... I was told the builders the other end of the cafe had it to go and ask them... 1 bottle if sauce for whole cafe... Not covid safe at all.The cafe was not full however the staff couldn't be less interested in the customer.This was a treat however after walking around the cafe several times whilst my breakfast went cold it felt like a chore.

I took my grandchildren to Morrisons cafe in Barry on the afternoon of Friday ,23July.We always love going there for a treat.Anyway ,today am so sorry to say that Iwe received the worst presented food I have ever had.The chips were old and just reheated,and the fish thrown on plate,peas were missing

Little to no wait time. Very good well done. However my breakfast was drowning in grease. Also they had run out of poached eggs but not fried eggs. How do you run out of only 1 type of eggs. Makes me wonder how long the fried eggs were sat there.May come again. But only if Burger King next door isn't open.

Morrisons are doing a great deal in this Cafe! You order your meal, and get "EXTRA" Food FREE! They give you the last persons meal dried onto your cutlery FOR FREE! NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME! You would think that with the Corona virus still about, A cafe would be on its guard? I visited this place today, and found even though tables were spaced apart etc there was complete chaos! People and staff brushed shoulders, like it was a Corona virus free zone! Although pre ordered meals were ordered and payed for, the orders were wrong or had missing items. This overall experience got worse, as all our cutlery had the last persons meal still smeared on all of our cutlery! Im sure a visit from the Food Hygiene Agency, would close this place down straight away... Disgusting place...

Usually very good but today they obviously had issues there was hardly anything on the menu that they had..fizzy drink machine not working ...only water ..oasis or bottles of coke.. not even put in chiller just left in packaging. An absolute mess. Poor assistant couldn t apologise enough. Can t think of any reason why there was that many issues.

Great place for fried breakfast and other small meals. Fast service with plenty of choice. Coffee is not the best and some menu options can get quite costly but otherwise a good place to take family on a weekend.

We visited for an evening meal after a day out on holiday. We ordered and sat down and waited. We've eaten at Morrisons before and know they are normally quick but it took 25 minutes for them to come over and tell us they had run out of half the meals we has ordered. We are vegetarian so the choice was reduced anyway. So we got a refund and went elsewhere. Besides being told the kitchen staff were rubbish we never got a satisfactory explanation as to why it took so long to be told they didn't have what we had ordered.

Took at least 5 minutes for a member of staff to show up, ordered omelette and chips for my partner. It turned up within ten minutes which is the only good thing I have to say about it. The chips were undercooked and tasted disgusting. The bacon in the omelette could easily have been used as a spare tires since that's how rubbery it was. Will never eat there again and would never recommend it either

Good value and handy when shopping BUT never enough staff and no one ever in charge to make decisions etc.Mugs sometimes still dirty on racks.Not always cutlery available when food is ready and we have to wait for it to come out of dishwasher then food is cold.
