Dunno what is going on with people saying they are rude. We live very close by and these guys are very friendly. You will always see them chatting to the locals and regulars. Never seen them be rude to anyone. Great chip shop.

There service was very rude when I was served, the chips weren't cooked well, they gave us the wrong curry sauce we asked for and they forgot to bag an item we ordered. (fishcakes) we won't be going back there until they get more polite.

The batter is really crispy and the fish is excellent quality. The chips could have done with a few moments more if I'm being critical but that's only today, usually they're perfect. Best chippy for miles and miles

Not sure about all the positive reviews. Went specially from Cardiff Bay....disappointed.. Fish freshly cooked and tasted ok....but batter flat and not crispy. Chips were not very good. Acid test...would I go there again??? NO...and at £7.50 is just below a much better experience in a pub..

Good chips. Just a shame that the owner is exceptionally rude and has no customer service skills. I've decided not to go in anymore as every time I say hello/ask how he is, he just blanks me. The other guy who is usually more friendly also did this during the same visit. Any business should not be complacent about their success which is also an impression I get
