Rogers Takeaway in The Vale of Glamorgan

This was our first experience of Roger’s tonight and we were very impressed with stunning food. Staff were very welcoming too. Will definitely be returning.

Easily the best Chinese in town, so much so had a look through the bins after they close. ..Only reason they ain’t getting 4 starts is because their Peking duck is quite clearly chicken with some food coloring.

Gave me the wrong meal again. There is always some confusion with Rogers over my order. I wondered whether the guy is deaf or doesn't understand English well enough, but I've realised he's just flaky and I can't be bothered with it anymore. It's always an ordeal. I'm going back to Mayfar. Never any hassle there.

Always fresh and delicious, the owner is very friendly and helpful of you're not entirely sure what you what he will give great suggestions to go with what you already have. Also if you go to collect, you can actually watch them cook your meal as their kitchen is open plan so there is nothing to hide!!

Absolutely perfect food , fast delivery amazing staff , we travel about 10 miles every weekend its so nice.

Having just moved to Llantwit major we decided to try Rogers for a takeaway. Well it was great. Spot on delivery of piping hot tasty food and at a great price. This will now be our go to takeaway.

Have used Rogers takeaway for many years now. The quality of their food is excellent, always piping hot and quick delivery. A great menu to choose from although I tend to stick to my usual no.58 or 59 which I enjoy very much. The owner is always pleasant and polite on the phone. I recommend this takeaway highly.

Haven't been in this Chinese takeaway for a long time, the food was nice and the counter chap was friendly. The only thing puts me off is the rubbish at the back. You have to walk past this to got to the takeway. It's not me being pickey but clear it away. They have an open kitchen so you can watch your food being made👍but just clean the back. Would I recommend this YES.

This is the best Chinese takeaway in the area. The menu is huge with plenty of choice including a decent enough vegetarian selection. Basically if you want Chinese food you will find it here. It's freshly cooked and tasty and the prices seem comparable to other Chinese takeaways.You can phone through an order to collect at the shop, have your food delivered or just go into the takeaway and wait. If you do need to wait at the end of a long day then there is a seating area to save your tired legs.The staff are great and as the kitchen area is directly behind the counter you can see all the food being masterfully prepared as you wait. The food is given to you in plastic tubs with lids which are useful to keep for future use or can be put in the recycling bin and a large enough order will even get you some rather large and tasty prawn crackers.I have been using Rogers for many years and have only once arrived home to find an order incomplete. When that did happen they immediately dispatched the missing dish and delivered right to our door which is great service. The only thing to be aware of is that they only take cash, so a trip to the cashpoint is a must before going to the shop!Writing this review has made me hungry, now where is that Rogers menu?

Ordered from this Chinese close to closing, 4 chicken ball tray meals and 2 sides of chips. We paid cash on arrival, only to find out that they’d forgotten the 2 chips we’d ordered. Tried calling both the shop and the delivery driver to no answer, we now have 2 very hungry people who are left without food. So we paid too much for what we had and will definitely call back tomorrow to complain.
