Had a long day surveying in Barry. Needed food before the 4 hr drive home. Sheek kebabs and Ali gobi outstanding. Chicken Dhansak one of the best I have had in a long time. True sweet and sour and very very tasty. If I come back to Barry will certainly call in again. Forgot to say they were just closing but had no problem in sorting out my hunger pains - well done great service price and most of all food.

The rice is good quality but the meat is tasteless. The meat quality is poor here. The curry sauces used are good and the butterfly prawn is good.

gorgeous, i agree it is the best Indian takeaway in Barry. lots of flavor, good portion size and its always nice and hot when i go to collect it. nice and polite staff always :)

I tried their Lamb tikka biryani and the lamb was dry and awful . Then afte two days I thought I will give it a another go and tried Tamarin Lamb , this time I specifically asked that I dont want dry lamb in my curry . The cook confirmed that its juicy but it was the worst Lamb I ever had , it was not only dry but completely tasteless in awful jar type flavour curry . I am very disappointed and will never go near that take again . Shame this was the nearest take away .

I like the Shah. I don't eat takeaway food much but when I fancy a tandoori I always get it here. The food is tasty and good quality. They do all the usual menu items and also have a number of specials which are excellent. I really like their app for choosing food but the checkout section let's it down and was unusable on my phone. I pay for it on collection. They deliver as well if you want.

Ordered through JustEat today, food was running late but received a really nice call from owner apologising for the delay and giving complementary drinks. Apparently today was a busy day, these things happen! Really appreciate the great customer service, and once food did arrive, was really delicious. Nothing like a good Indian on Saturday Night!
