I love environment around the area and the waiters and waitresses are very nice. The food there is a bit expensive but reasonable as the food are very delicious especially the seafood platter.

Very expensive for the amount of food that you are given. If you like food that is floating in butter, I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Asked for a dover sole which was on the special menu. A nice large piece of fish, no veg, just chips....£42😲wasn't expecting that. The hake, which was swimming butter, and extremely small, chips only. Not impressed.Service, I maybe old school, but I think it's rude to clear people's plates away, when others haven't finished. Asked for other items but never received them.We ordered two bottles of wine, and was charged for three. They apparently mistook it for a glass of wine. There were many other mistakes which I really haven't got the time to mention. Definitely won't be going again. The owners really need to consider the customer and not their own pocket. I'm in business (not the same) but my customers come first. Rant over, now I'm going for a pizza as I'm still hungry.

Outstanding visit!! This was one of the highlights on our visit to Barry. First, the customer service is outstanding. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. We both had the Fish and Chips and everything was cooked to perfection. We also loved the atmosphere.

Terrible service. Ordered two cokes and a cappuccino, the cappuccino never came even after reminding the waiter who seemed to have his head in the clouds. We then had to ask for the bill twice, and it never came, so we had to wait in line at the bar just to pay for two overpriced cokes.None of the staff offered any apologies, and just reminded us that it was busy - I totally appreciate it was busy, and wouldn't have minded a long wait on such a nice day, but the waiting staff were totally uninterested in providing a decent service, and I can't help but feel its just because we weren't ordering food like other customers, who were served promptly with no issues. In future I suggest turning customers away if all they are ordering is drinks rather than wasting their time and money.I shan't be returning, or recommending to anyone. Steer clear.

Unfortunately this restaurant has gone the way of most restaurants in barry, substandard food and ridiculous prices. If you like paying a premium for undercooked moist floppy chips then definitely eat here. £3 for a half filled box of raw potato is a bit steep.

Great local restaurant! We recently moved to the area and are so happy this is on our door step. Everything is great, from sunday lunch to Lobster Thermidor, you cant beat this place. Its great for non fish lovers to.

We just ate there, an older man apparently the owner chased my wife into the toilet area waited for her to come out to ask her why she came in a rude way! We were waiting outside to be sat in our table. When we came in I asked him to come and have a word, he apologised in a dry manner. We only ate there because we had no other option as my wife was terribly hungry as she is breastfeeding and we had our 6 month old baby with us.The food wasn't bad but not great for the price and small portions, they even wanted to charge me for a sparkling water they did not have!, if you want to spend ~£50 on two mains and one starter then go, its not a Michelin restaurant if that's what he thinks.Be mindful the apparent owner will be looking over your shoulder, I would avoid this place, we are farely local will never go back or recommend it to anyone!Picture is actually of the baked cod and was a mistake when I opened the camera, not that I would snap their food.
