Lovely place, staff were really friendly. The portions were really small. But it was a great experience after a day of Christmas shopping in cardiff. We stopped on the off chance of getting a table. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was homely

I emailed to book my table, was a big table, no where else would accommodate. Was a lovely evening had by all the family, staff were lovely, even down to letting my aunty order off of the kids menu as shes not a big eater. Was a lovely night, will definitely be returning.

Rare steak cooked medium, buttermilk chicken burnt hence our 87 Yr old elderly family member did not want to cause a scene. The sweet selection was mediocre and the three scoops of ice cream was full of dried ice. We are not professional complainers but the food was very poorly presented and cooked. On a lighter note the staff were very pleasant, sadly we won't be returning.

Our Daughter booked this meal as a tribute birthday treat in memory of our late son Michael.Who's birthday it would have been on 12th . We all had lovely meals really hot and very good service good service.. would really recommend .

We went as a family for Mother’s Day, and I can honestly say I was very impressed with the service and food. We went with our 10 month old child and a high chair was provided with room for the pram to go. The waitresses were very friendly with him which he loved. As for the food, it was good quality pub grub. We’ll certainly be back again in the near future.

Lovely place to grab some food. I'm not from around the area and was just passing through. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Good choice of meals and service was very quick! Highly recommended

We had a great evening, lovely food & drinks whilst celebrating my parents wedding anniversary & mums birthday. All the staff are so friendly & helpful, we love coming here to eat. We will be back soon :-)

Food was fantastic... Can't fault their food, you do need to clarify for Gluten free food. The downside was it nearly took 1hr for our food order to be taken, which was around 8pm, and we a family of 8..and the kitchen closes at 9pm

Party of 5 went. All pleased with service and food. They were short staffed but wasn't very busy as it was one of the nights we had a bad storm. My only grievance was with the desserts we had to pay 50p extra for icecream on the crumble and cream for cheesecake. But will definitely go back

Meals I felt were small for the cost. I had the chicken breast with chips, coleslaw and a sauce but there was no colour on the plate so looked a bit uninspiring. A bit of green salad and tomato would not have added a great deal to cost of manufacture but made the whole meal more palatable.
