The Modern Balti in The Vale of Glamorgan

Thought I try here tonight for a change, The best Indian I've had, and I've tried them all in Barry, quick delivery and a great price 👏👏👏👍

2nd time we have ordered from here and 2nd time we have waited forever for delivery. Had to phone to ask where order was after 1hr 30 min wait and they were quite rude.When food arrived was very disappointed with vegetable balti as described "exotic veg" only to find it was basically carrot/peas/potato/corn and green beans....not very "exotic" mix!!

Over an hour and a half late. First follow up call, told it was with driver, 20 minutes later...Still with the driver.Chicken was tough as old boots.Bajees were not good and super greesey. Chips were stone cold.Won't ever order again from here.

A top Indian takeaway, always excellent food and service.

What is the point of having time selections if they are not followed. Requested our food to be delivered at 8:15 as family members were in work & wanted food hot for when they come home. Delivery turned up a hour early & was refused to be taken back!Very poor timing

Excellent service, meals are well portion lots of chicken

In the past has always been very good. Unfortunately tonight one of the meals was extremely salty, so much so it was inedible. Phoned to complain and had no offer of replacement, just told "sorry darling, next time will be better, sorry darling", then they hung up. Very surprised by how poor this is.

Just had the worst Indian takeaway from modern balti. Every time I have ordered for the last 3 times it has been over 40mins late and cold. Having to warm it up in the microwave! The last time my order was wrong and they said they would send the missing item but driver was currently in rhoose. I just asked for a refund. Still waiting for it. This is the last time I will using Modern balti again.Goodbye from a loyal customer who has just had enough of wasting my money.

Delicious as always. Ordered 2 meals and froze one. The defrosted meal was even better. Always friendly staff. Advised from the start that the delivery would be 20 mins late. Well worth the wait.
