Had a lovely late lunch with my boyfriend here after spending most of the day at the beach. We both had fish and chips which were served with posh mushy peas and tartar sauce was really hot and fresh which was much needed. Thanks guys! 4 stars because £40 for 2 pints of lemonade, 2 bottled sodas and fish and chips is a bit steep and if I had known probably would have stopped somewhere else for a quick bite to eat. But will definitely come again to try something else on the menu on an occasion.😊

Booked a table a week in advance. On arrival told we did not book a table with space for dogs also and basically made to feel like liars. Manager checked the booked and saw we did indeed make the booking including pets. No apology given just a miserable reception from the manager and bundled on 2 small tables cramped in.Food was fine and we had no problem with staff, then it came to the bill in which we found an extra £80 on our bill as we were charged for the tables drinks behind us and the food did not tally up. I thought I’d get up and inform the staff, he was fine and understood the mistake but I do have a problem with management hearing her with staff and wandering round with a miserable expression on her face. I worked over 20 years in management that is not how to do it, please for your own sake if you do not enjoy the job and role leave👌

Nice pub with a lovely outside area with views over the ruins of Ogmore Castle. BUT - it’s incredibly expensive!! A double gin & tonic and a pint of Doom Bar is an eye-watering £14.50. So we won’t be going back, sorry.

Lovely pub with friendly staff, loads of seating inside and out. Went on Sunday so had the Sunday lunch which was amazing (choice if lamb, beef or pork). Weekday menu looked very appealing so will head back.
