Lovely food and plenty of it. Excellent service. 100% will go back. Went back on 5th March and again food was lovely. Another great evening spent at Ego with excellent food and great service. Took friends who had never been before and they really enjoyed it.

This place is stunning . Set in a beautiful area . Very scenic views to cosmeston lakes . Perfect for the bird watching ppl . The food was amazing . Tuesday's is steak night so went for the 280g (about 10oz ) ribeye steak. Was cooked perfectly . The menu is extensive for those who wish to treat their pallet to Mediterranean cuisine. Deffinetly worth a visit 👍

We came for lunch.. First step in and the atmosphere is amazing. You feel welcome warm and cozy. The menu is vast with so many choices to cater for all budgets. The child menus is good and much more variety than most places with the added bonus of set price for 2 or 3 courses and a junior menu for older children. The platter in the picture tasted soooooo good. Everything had perfectly balanced flavours and was delicious.Mains were generous portions and delicious. The only downfall is we were too full to try pudding :)We plan on coming back soon as there were cocktails being ordered at other tables and if they are as good as the food, that would be a perfect evening.

Starters were ok (calamari and kids garlic bread) but main courses were dry (steak and ale pie and kids chicken strips) or undercooked with hardly any sauce (gf carbonara) I know posts is supposed to be al denta but this was practically crunchy.Service was slow, 15 minutes from arriving before a drinks order was taken and then they sat on the bar for 10 mins after being poured. Of all the staff there not one asked how our meal was.It was lovely we could take the dog into the bar with us, but unfortunately we won't be rushing back. Overall disappointed.

Amazing lunch, especially with my birthday voucher making the bill super cheap. Have eaten in the Sheffield branch a few times before so I'm delighted to have a local one now... Really delicious food and friendly service.

The food was really nice but unfortunately arrived incredibly slowly. For a two course meal at lunch time it took 2 hours in total with most of that being waiting for the food. We would have had desert but didn't want to wait another hour. The sharing board was outstanding but the steaks left a bit to be desired. My son's steak was off the children's menu; we ordered it medium but it came very well done and chewy. My steak was undersized but at least it was tasty. We could over hear conversations in the kitchen and it seemed like they were having some problems so maybe on a different day it could be good restaurant to visit.

Parking is nice and easy, the atmosphere there is very welcoming, looks very festive at this time of year. Went there with my wife and we ordered the Camabert as a starter and for mains we had beef bourgogne and salmon both where delicious. For dessert I had the treakle and ginger pie with vanilla ice cream and why wife had the Christmas pudding. The staff were very attentive but not annoyingly so and we had a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon/evening there.

Visited for a birthday meal and I am really impressed.Staff are really friendly and accommodating, there was also a good number of staff too which meant ser ice was really good.Menu is very good with a decent selection and enough choice for most guests. There is only 3 draft beers, 1 being Carling so that leaves 2 actually decent drafts being Estrella and Amstel.Really good selection of cocktails too.Highly recommend.
