The Windsor in The Vale of Glamorgan

My friend and I visited here for lunch. What an adorable & quaint place, we loved it! The staff were the most friendliest, welcoming and accommodating people (a credit to the management team). The restaurant was immaculate and had a homely atmosphere. We sat in their lovely outdoor seating area and blankets were provided on the back of the chairs for customers which was a very thoughtful touch. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty and excellent value for money. I can’t recommend this place more highly and will definitely be returning soon and am looking forward to doing so. Such a super place! 10/10

All food is in my opinion good quality, served hot and really nice. Offered an alternative as I don't like beans. All good. Toilets on premises. A favourite for breakfast

Popped by as was wandering through the arcade and saw this lovely looking place. I checked before taking a seat and found out they don't provide vegan sweets and desserts. They do have gluten free options though. The staff member was friendly and did apologise.

We both had a lovely ploughman's lunch with a mix of 3 cheeses and crusty bread.Looking forward to going back and having another one or maybe try something else

Another fabulous lunch at the Windsor tea rooms , food as always well prepared and great value for money , service excellent the ladies that work here know there job and are so friendly from the minute you walk through the door until you leave , well done see you soon .

Lovely place to eat quite tables service is good, took my granddaughter in 9 months old and asked if I could have hot water to heat up her dinner no problems. High chair was provided. Value for money.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Penarth! The Windsor offers good, traditional mostly homemade fare with good sized portions, and at a fraction of the price charged by fancier establishments. Though no Dishes of the Day were available at the time of our visit, the regular menu offered a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, including Vegan. Service is friendly and helpful, with cold drinks served cold and hot food served hot!
