Three Golden Cups in The Vale of Glamorgan

First time coming here. The staff were great. What a lovely little restaurant. We sat by the window with the sun coming in and ended up staying longer than anticipated as it was such a lovely atmosphere. The prices were great for the home made food. We'll definitely be popping back in next time we go to Ogmore. We also took a flyer regarding their camping field, the price for the night was only £25 with onsite showers etc. Will be booking in the summer.

Absolutely disgusting service. Booked table Iver the phone in advance and when arrived, we were asked to sit in or out. Choose outside, and told that it was a good choice due to weather. Sat outside with my mum, on mother's day, looking forward to her meal after travelling down from Cardiff. Went into order at the bar as instructed by the lady. Got to the bar and told they were no longer serving food to anyone sat outside. I explained that I'd booked in and the lady (manager I think!) told we could sit outside but still not budging. Totally ruined Mother's day for our Mum and ended up in mcdonalds as everywhere booked. Not happy.

Never had a bad pie here, never had a bad meal in fact until recently.Had a tuna baguette and for £7 I felt robbed 😂. It wasn't great, maybe its just me but I am fussy with some brands of Tuna and Mayo but £7 I did expect it to taste better.Don't let that put you off though, just something to avoid of the menu. Stick to the pies, great location, allows dogs, serves coffee. Ideal for a pit stop when having a walk down Southerndown.

My family and I have just eaten at the 3 golden cups, the food was very good , the veg tasted very fresh and the main courses were very well cooked. The service was excellent. We were a party of 11 and they had no problem fitting us in . We would all highly recommend eating here and we will definitely visit again.

Lovely and polite staff but not too attentive on the main bar. Me and my friend were very impressed with the food and how they put up with my crazy dog! Lovely pub would highly recommend.

Seemed nice people. No masks worn during service to customers. A lot of work being carried on which may have been essential. You would have thought that somebody would have explained this to the customers and apologised as the noise drowned the conversation at the table Pity as the pub has character. Food is good.

Great to see a small pub/restaurant was so busy in these times! Social distancing good and we got served and seated quickly. The food was amazing and plenty of it. Thank you 👍

This place was amazing, we were a large family group with adults and kids. The staff were attentive and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food, oh the food was fantastic! Asked for extra Yorkshires, yes no problem was the reply and they were proper ones, nothing frozen about this meal. Also the desserts were amazing! Huge portions and the apple crumble I had was top notch.Can't believe I haven't been before and will go again!
