Do NOT come here for Father's Day ! Or any other day for that matter unless it's on a weekday afternoon !My family and I arrived at our reserved table at 1:00pm but the food didn't come out until 3:00pm. Waitress was lovely and accommodating, but the lack of communication between the waiting staff and kitchen staff is concerning. My dad ordered a MEDIUM sirloin steak and it came out like this....

Not the best visit we've ever had. The place was really busy and service was slow because of that. There were 1 or 2 issues with the meals - modification that were not done but the server was very apologetic and were rectified quickly.

Don't know what's happened to beefeater, their breakfast used to be amazing. But the last couple times have been a disgrace. Doesn't have help yourself like it once was. Just sat waiting to be served then the food was terrible staff couldn't be bothered. I suggest you go to a different place for breakfast as this is not worth the money they charge.

Just left after a shockingly dissapointing Lunch.I checked with waitress and was assured beef would be pink. No blood. So me and my husband ordered beef dinners. My beef was swimming in blood..So I requested a different meal.Chose lamb chops asked for them to be well done. These were only marginally better cookedAnd sadly tasteless.covered them in mint sauce to eat them!My husbands beef, his description - Cow hadHoofs and tail taken off! Awful.ÂŁ37 for 2 drinks and 2 extremely indifferent meals. We got Married 2 weeks ago and go back to work tomorrow. This mealwas trying to extend the Honeymoon...It sadly failed. The Waitress was lovely but they need a new Chef.I wanted to tell the people coming in to turn around!

Visited here with my family not long ago, 19 of us total. Food came out reasonably quick despite the large order between us all. Food was flavourful and we'll presented, we will be visiting again!

Excellent staff and a lovely meal, was very impressed to find a 4oz steak on the kids menu, the waitress looked a little shocked when we asked for it rare for our 4 year old but that's how she likes it! All food was very good and even the fussy vegan in the group was fine

Wish they would sort this place out had a meal yesterday and the food was awful it’s literally hit and miss been there a few times and the food was great. Service is always good can’t complain about that but the food how can it be good one time and absolute garbage the next burnt mash potatoes old veg basically thrown on the plate!!

The waitress who took food order was lovely. Best thing about experience.Food was greasy. Batter on fish soggy and chips swimming in grease.Mushroon started was pleasant enough but not enough to tempt me back there. V disappointed. Not been there for years and now I have remembered why.

My wife and I visited this Beefeater purely randomly for lunch. We walked in and waited to be offered a table.Five minutes later a person who we assumed was a manager of some kind put down what he was doing and actually decided to greet us by asking if we had a reservation. We told him we hadn't and after some silence while he consulted his diary were shown to a table and were offered drinks which were served promptly enough.A waitress came to take our order and we ordered off the lunch menu. The food when it came was of reasonable quality but could have been served a little better. My steak was served with the minimum of chunky fries and garden peas which was tasty enough but underwhelming. No sauces were offered on the menu and I had to ask for French mustard and salt and pepper. My wife's gammon she enjoyed but reported that it was nothing special. The starters we had ordered with the main meal were disappointing. The garlic bread consisted of two small thin wedges not much bigger than a slice of bread with no accompanying dips of any sort. My wife's garlic mushrooms were ok however.A meal which was ok but we expect and have previously had far better than this from Beefeater.
