Cafe In The Park in Tonbridge and Malling

Very slow service. Food not bad. Lovely setting

Amazing stop off in this Country Park outside Tonbridge. The Cafe provided exactly what we asked for with no hassle, eg a burger but no bun - they just used a plate instead. Meant no waste.Definitely stop there again if driving that direction.

Brilliant. Had the breakfast baguette, and a slice of cake, and both were really tasty, and excellent value for money too.

Quite a long queue but it was at lunchtime on a Sunday, well worth the wait though. Absolutely amazing sausages and bacon, in a very nice and soft baguette, perfectly toasted. The hot chocolate was also incredible! Definitely coming back!Update: We came back on a Thursday, it was lunch time but it still was a massive queue. Took around 30 mins to get food.

On a cold day walking around Barden Lake this cafe is a godsend. A warming hot chocolate with a bacon and egg roll. Tasty and filling with fair prices. Now walk around the lake again to work it off

It was amazing. Anyone who eats here please note that when you buy too much rolls and sandwiches you are annoying every one in the park whilst also holding up the queue. Please stop overbuying bacon rolls please. I also recommend the homemade ice cream it is the best ever and actually does not hold up the queue.

Kelly and Martin are wonderful and friendly , chatting to them and getting breakfast at the weekend make walking the dog more enjoyable whatever the weather.The filter coffee is lovely and Martin cooks the bacon just how I like it, not forgetting the homemade doggy biscuits!

It's a nice walk from Tonbridge through the park and past the first lake. Ducks and geese abound and children can buy correct feed at the café and feed the ducks. Only 50p a bag.Toilets are just to the rear of the café itself and a large car park is behind that (£1).Perfect dog walking area. Cycle track 12 to Penshurst passes through too.
